West Coast Muffler

Great muffler shop!
I called around to shops all around the bay and just kind of stumbled across West Coast Mufflers. I called on a Wednesday morning to see when I could get in to do a Flowmaster muffler and stainless dual exhaust with black tips on my F-​150. They said they could get me in that afternoon at 2.
When I showed up, they were very helpful in talking with me to make sure I got what I wanted, showed me the tips and asked me where I wanted them placed on the truck.
By 4:30 the truck was done. It sounds amazing, and looks even better! All the welds look to be very well done.

I was referred by my Mechanic to take my vehicle here for a 4 wheel alignment. The vehicle was still pulling to the right after getting an alignment from another shop. I scheduled an appointment with Steve two days prior and followed up with Jerry the day before mainly because I would have to drop off the vehicle due to work obligations. I had finished with a work assignment earlier than planned and was heading back to the East Bay. I had intended to just wait at the shop until my vehicle was fixed so I decided to contact them before I arrived. I just wanted to have a good idea of the wait time. Linda answered the phone and told me it was next in line and was about to go on the lift. That phone call was 25 mins before I arrived at the shop. Upon arriving at West Coast Muffler, I noticed my vehicle was still parked in the same spot where I parked 3 hours earlier. Linda was at the front desk when I introduced myself and inquired about my vehicle. I guess Linda was having a bad day, lack of coffee or whatever she desired to start her day because she was rude and standoffish to my questions concerning the wait time. I wasn’t in a hurry as I was willing to wait but Linda failed to understand that as she told me to head over to Big O Tires if I was in a hurry and handed me my keys. I informed Linda that’s where I got my alignment done initially and my mechanic told me to check out their shop, West Coast Muffler. Her response, «We take our time because we’re the best.» That probably is the case because of the positive reviews but not so much on customer service. On a positive note, West Coast Muffler did an excellent job with my alignment but failed on customer service. I’ve never encountered such rudeness to the point of writing about it but Linda changed that.

Awesome customer service! I took my GTR there to have them take a look because a exhaust tip was touching the bumper. the owner took one look at it and found that the hanger had a crack. He said no problem and welded the part back into its place. Charged me $ 40! Great deal! You, sir, have my business next time.

WestCoast Muffler at it again! They by far continue to do great work, great prices, and timeing is always on point. Took my baby G35 for the second time. This time to have a Cadillac converter put in because i busted my old one. They were fast prompt and great pricing all the times. I highly recommend them as well their service to everyone. Ever in need of great custom work or any type of exhaust work these are the people you want to see. Thanks West Coast.

I have now taken two of my trucks here to put flow masters on. My first was a 2014 Silverado. They did a great job and sounded amazing! Last night I traded my 14 model for a 16 model. And first thing this morning I’m back putting flow masters in this new truck.
The staff here are really great and knowledgable! They take time to explain everything in details and options.
Today they were also so kind to do my truck on the spot with their busy schedule.
Great place and would highly recommend to everyone!

Was referred by a friend as my 2003 Toyota had just made a cross country trip and needed some help (195k miles on her!). I was anticipating it taking a while to find a trustworthy shop to work on my car. I feel like I’ve struck gold! Steve, Linda and crew are friendly and trustworthy. They keep squeezing more miles into my car! I couldn’t recommend them any higher. They’ll be trusted with any car I have.

Brought my 2013 Dodge Challenger in to have the exhaust changed. Steve the owner was great. Gave me options of what mufflers to use. The car sounded great. Great price and great service. Will be back!

Hands down the best custom exhaust shop I have been to in my life. I would not let anyone else in NorCal work on my cars. Having traveled around the world and living in so many places as a career military guy, I have not worked with a better shop than West Coast Muffler. Their customer service is top notch and friendly, as well as fair prices and the highest quality work. Steve trusted that I knew what I was talking about and what I wanted for my ZR-​1 since I had done all the research and know what works on these cars after 13 years of owning a few. Jerry worked his magic and I could not have found a better perfectionist to modify my stock exhaust. I purchased all the parts and he installed it to look like factory; heck, way better than factory and looking like it was meant to be. Jerry customized the muffler mounting bracket for this Corvette and what is so trick about it is he made them hidden brackets and who would have thought to do such a thing? He had full confidence that he was the «MAN» and I could trust him; he was right! Linda was also so friendly and such a sweetheart to accommodate all my questions and concerns despite being busy in the front office, never making me feel like I was bothering her. What an awesome shop and I’m so fortunate to have a business that I can trust and rely on in the future for all my other toys.

First off, the owner Steve is awesome! Took my truck there today to have some exhaust work done. It took him 20 minutes the work was great and so was the price. Also asked him about welding on a tow hitch. He said no problem and 20 minutes later that was done too. Going to recommend this shop to all my friends and family!

The Owner is a great man and takes pride in his work. I told him i wanted my srt hemi to sound loud as possible and mean. He reccomended the outlaw flowmaster mufflers and man the sound is so amazing and nascar loud I was so happy when i got my car back. Price was great and i was out the door in less than 2 hours.

New to the area and needed some work done on an old hit rod of mine. Lucked out by taking a guess with these guys. It’s a car I get nervous leaving in the hands of someone I don’t know, but the minute I showed up and met Steve I knew I was in good hands. He’ll be my go to for all the family cars for now on!!!
It’s rare you come across someone trustworthy, honest, and straight forward in this line of work. These guys have it nailed!

Came in on Saturday 1÷31÷15 because my 2002 Beetle was loud and smokey. Her checked it and Welles it for free but informed me I needed a Flex Pipe And I could make an appointment for that. I called on Monday got an appointment on Tuesday and they had my car done in about 4−5hrs.
They work was great and my car is quiet as ever.
The customer service was awesome as well.
They also sell honey in the office which I bought a jar.

West Coast Muffler is a class A establishment! Steve and his guys really know their stuff and they treat their customers right! I recently purchased a Borla exhaust system for my Corvette and Steve had no problem installing it for me and at the right price! I also asked him to lower me car and he did as much as he could without messing up my car! I really appreciate him looking out for my cars best interest so I would not have any problems down the road! The work done at West Coast Muffler is top notch! Would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family!

Just took our ’63 Nova in for alignment and now he drives great! Steve was a pleasure to work with, smart, funny and humble. Will be doing lots of business here for sure.

West Coast Muffler does phenomenal work. They did my exhaust on my 1997 BMW M3 and it turned out way better then I could have expected. They have also done work on by familys cars.
Awesome Service every time. If your looking for a shop that does high end work, look no further. West Coast is accustomed to working on some of the Bay Areas nicest hot Rods.

Ok so I wanted to install some large tips on my exhaust system, that guy Steve was a jerk. Would not even look at my car and said it could not be done, once i told him other cars were running those tips he said it would be $ 250 for just two shitty looking cheap tips they had. I went ahead and ordered the tips i wanted online, (afe) got them and decided to give WC another chance. This time i was lucky and i met Jerry, he was awesome and said it would take him an hr and it would be 80 bucks. I made an appt for the next day and jerry took care of it in under an hour and welded everything and made it proper.
Because of that jerk steve i took off one star but just because of jerry and him knowing how to talk to customers i give WC mufflers 4 Stars!!!
I would still send customers to WC mufflers but i would tell them to only speak with Jerry!

Love this place! I have taken 4 Trucks to them for exhaust and brake work. Great service, very friendly and the quality is suburb. The welds are so much better then other places ive been. All three trucks were show trucks and came out excellent. Thanks STEVE and staff!
Also very good prices for the work they do.

Took my Mercedes SLK in for a front end alignment, as it had gotten to the «wandering» point… having to correct the steering too much. I made an appointment and when I arrived, Steve took it for a test drive. When he returned, he said it was just a «toe-​in» issue, and he’d take care of it right away. I was out of there in about 30 – 45 minutes, and the cost was less than the original estimate. The car now drives like new.
I’ve recommended Steve and West Coast to friends, and I’m taking a friend of mine’s car in this week for an alignment.
