Established in 1989.
Workers.Com was opened in 1989 as Snelling Industrial Services. We operated as a Snelling and Snelling Franchise for several years, and in 1995 decided to go it on our own. At that time we operated as Industrial Services Company and was successful working with refinery and petrochemical companies in Contra Costa County. As the Web grew and became a viable way to find and educate Bay Area companies with what we could to for them, we changed our name to what it is today. Workers.Com truly told the story of what we provided for Bay Area industrial companies. We have become the premier staffing solution for many small and large companies that are in need of a flexible workforce. We are ideally suited for the small startup companies with assistance in the expertise that takes years to acquire being in business in California. Years of being a contractor and small business owner, I had the chance to use staffing firms for aquiring workers to help with my fluctuating work load. I had the opportunity to join and learn the staffing industry with the contractors background and knowledge of what contractors needed as a reliable source of qualified workers. My experience was that most staffing firms did not have the base knowledge of what a contractor went through in order to get the job done, and done right. I was able to find the key to our success by hiring trades people and industry specific staff and train them how to recruit and sort through a pool of workers to find good talent. The experience of working in the field takes years, and giving these people the tools to recruit made our success story a reality.
