Specialties

Pie in the Sky Pie Co. serves breakfast, lunch, and of course the best pie in town! Our breakfast menu includes favorites like Dad’s plate and Kicked-Up French Toast (it has the same vanilla filling we use to make our banana cream pie). For lunch, enjoy tasty options like the popular strawberry spinach salad and cranberry pecan salad.

Come in our shop any day of the week and you’ll find freshly baked sweets! It varies from day to day but some sweets you can expect to see include cinnamon twists, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and cakeballs. You can also enjoy a slice of pie or pick up a whole one. We have a variety of flavors — from Southern Pecan to Key Lime, Mississippi Mud to Banana Cream, there’s something for everyone!

You can also order casseroles to go for office parties, family gatherings or just to take home for supper. In addition, we have a variety of sandwiches and wraps that would be perfect for your business lunch-ins or school field trips.

We hope to see you soon!

Meet the Business Owner

Marlene S.

Business Owner

All of this started very innocently at my parent’s convenience stores in 1997. After roaming the countryside chasing my dream to be a famous singer I landed back at home without much of a direction. My parents had been in the convenience store business since 1985 and it was natural that eventually I would end up back working for them. I helped open three of the four stores that my parents built all the while still searching for my niche or my place in this crazy world. While working for my parents I was able to have the space to cultivate and grow my business of pie baking.

In 2005 my father gave me a ½ acre of land and I took the dive and built the first Pie in the Sky Pie Co. It has been tough and I must admit that there have been days when I have doubted myself. It was much simpler to pick up a paycheck every two weeks. But when I walk in the back door of my kitchen each day I smile inside.
