Might as well write this one while I’m fstw! I know when you are in an accident, the last thing you are thinking about is who is going to tow your vehicle. Most times the police will dispatch someone in the area to begin with or the vultures are listening and show up in groves. However, if you are coherent enough to choose who tows your vehicle, I would suggest you choose someone else.
Reason number one, as with most of these places, this service is a complete and utter rip off! If you have no conscience and want to make easy money, this is the easiest way to do hardly a damn thing and make a killing. Again, that’s if you like taking advantage of helpless people by holding their vehicle hostage. They towed my cousin’s truck a couple of miles down the road, then stored it for only a ⁴⁄₅ hours. The bill, a whopping $ 300! I realize this is the game, Speedy plays it well. I also realize 5-​O probably wants a nice cut of the fee as well… smh #protectandservemy…
Reason number 2, and this is specifically about speedy’s. Their office and where they store your vehicle is literally 15, maybe more minutes apart from each other. Who wants to go to one location only to be sent to another one to either pay or pick up your vehicle. And don’t go to your car first because that’s even more driving back & forth! Smh
And last but not least, this place is hoarders central. Like seriously I would not be surprised to see them on the actual show. Unfortunately I got tired of waiting outside in the heat, so I went inside, reluctantly sat down in a seat and when we were finished getting my cousin’s truck, I could not rest until I went home and showered. There is literally something in every nook & cranny on the wall, on the desk, piles of junk EVERYWHERE!
As much money as this place probably brings in (they got another lady for $ 225 just that morning too) I don’t know why it’s so filthy on the inside and outside. A power wash, this place hasn’t had one since it was built, I’m sure. If you’re going to brutalize anal cavities on a daily basis, at least look pretty while doing so!
