An eclectic retail outlet of Marklin Candle Design and Windhover Farm. .. we feature our very own decorated and undecorated candles, hand-​made candle stands, our own local honey and other products from the farm. You can even check out our observation hive!

We source a variety of locally made and other gift items for all ages including: baby, wedding, birthday, hostess, house-​warming and other special occasions. A fabulous place to find a variety of jewelry, clothing accessories, unique housewares, gourmet foods, and of course, candles.

History

Established in 2008.

Marklin Candle was established in 1985 in St. Louis, MO. We moved the company to it’s current location in 1999. The retail store was added in 2008 and features 7 different rooms to explore!

Meet the Business Owner

Christine M.

Business Owner

Christine’s husband, Martin started the candle company in his parents’ basement in St. Louis, MO in 1985, while a student in college. In subsequent years the business was moved to Nashua, NH before moving to it’s current location in Contoocook, NH. Martin and Christine enjoy working together to create beautiful, hand-​made items for the liturgical market, as well as unique items for the home. They use the land around the factory to pursue their passions of beekeeping, gardening and animal husbandry.
