Went there last night, only time I will make that mistake.
I ordered calamari first, which came out undercooled and greasy. Upon picking the plate apart I discovered that there were TEN calamari rings, a and the other 30 – 40 pieces were fried banana peppers! When I asked the waitress why this was, she said we should consider ourselves lucky because most people don’t even get that much calamari!
I then ordered a pizza with a Yuengling. Beer came out half flat, and 20 minutes later the pizza still hadn’t come out. Another waitress came to the table and said that the cook ripped a hole in our pizza and STILL TRIED TO BAKE IT. So all the toppings fell through and they spent another 30 minutes making another pizza.
If there was not a thunderstorm outside, I would have left by now. I figured «Hey how could this get any worse,» instead which I guess was my mistake.
The pizza comes out full of bubbles and doughy, it truly resembled a soup bowl more than a pizza. the «prosciutto» was just thick cut ham. After trying a slice I decided I would rather be soaked than stay any longer, so I got my check and left.
Was that the end of my misery, NO. Even from the small amount of food I ate I was woken up early for my 7am shift by what I can only describe as C4 combined with napalm forcefully voiding itself from my body.
NEVER. Coming. Back.

Absolutely pathetic. I decided to give Amici in Conyers one more try but I will never be back. Service was absolutely HORRIBLE. Waitress knew nothing about the menu or drink menu. Bartender didn’t know how to make half of the specialty drinks. Next time I’ll just drive to Covington or around the corner to Mellow Mushroom.

I had driven by many times and wondered why there was never anyone there, so I stopped and picked up a small pizza to go. It was about 11:45am on a weekday and the place was empty. The «bartender» (if she was of legal age) was friendly and the pizza arrived quickly, but when I got it home it was nearly inedible. Hard to tell if the ingredients I ordered were fresh, as they were sparse and drowned in congealed, salty cheese on a soggy crust. I don’t live so far away that this would have happened on the way home. I will keep driving past in the future.

We waited 20 minutes for food here. Asked the waiter and he blamed the wait on a large party. 15 minutes later we talk to the manager– she said our ticket never got put in. 15 more minutes pass, people who were sat and ordered after us ate and left, and we’re still waiting on our food. The worst part was the manager was not even apologetic. Now our pizza just came out and doesn’t have any dough in the middle. We’re going on an hour and 15 minute dinner for some damn pizza.

This restaurant is a «wow». Perhaps we started off on the wrong foot. Walked in and asked for a table, party of 7. We were escorted to a portion of the restaurant that looked like an alley. The time was 5:10 PM or so and the place only had two maybe 3 other customers. I told the hostess that I wanted to sit in the restaurant, not in an «alleyway». She explained that the open part of the restaurant (large area in front of kitchen) was reserved for «large parties».
Sounds like the area was meant for us, says I. How about this table to which I was told «it only has 6 chairs». I suggested moving a chair over and «Ms. Sunshine» snarled and said OK. The waitress came over and had no clue of what was served. We finally ordered and appetizers were served to us, in baskets/​trays but not dishes. Do you have any dishes? Oh, yes, would you like some? (I’m thinking: no I just want to throw the food on the table and share).
The fries were very good. We ordered the «special of the day», chicken wings. Which we were told «only .70 cents each or 6 for a $ 4.69. Great math skills she had. The wings came out and they were from Chernobyl. Must have been from „dinosaur chickens“. Not too good.
The beer was fine and then the „bill“. Added to the chicken wings was a .49 cent charge for celery. I asked why and was told that since it was a special item, they charged for the celery. Three ultra skinny 6» slices. A head of celery would have been plenty for 30 orders or more.
I asked «If I ordered a Ham Sandwich, would I get charged extra for the bread?»
I complained to the manager and she said she would take it off the bill. Don’t bother says I, you folks need it more than I do.
Guess what? Last time at this place !! One in our party said, it’s not like that in Covington.
Do I sound annoyed? YES, I am. Think I am overemphasizing the «bad»? Then visit this place on a Wednesday evening and ask for «chicken wings».
Oh, and the floor was extremely slippery. so watch yourselves.

So we got a coupon in the mail and decided to try out Amici. Beautiful place. We were sat at a booth with a light so bright it was painful. The waitress couldn’t have been any nicer, even though it seems it took a very long time. The works pizza first slice was ok in texture but with the tomatoes and peppers it became a big soggy mess. juices were leaking off of it. Well I have had severe stomach cramps since leaving, and my hubby had an upset stomach. thinking something was very off with the hamburger on the pizza. May be a great place to grab a drink with friends, but I will never eat there again.
10÷29÷2014− I have been seriously ill since leaving. Abdominal cramps, upset stomach, and vomiting. Unless you want to die a slow death do not eat here unless you got a few days to lay on the bathroom floor. This was another day spent in bed weak. At least the worse is over, but still. I have rarely been this sick off of food in my entire life.

We got a pizza coupon in the mail. So we decided to go. Got seated quickly. Order drinks. Wife got hers, never got mine after 30 minutes. never was able to place pizza order. We got up and left. Wife took half drink to counter and I let them know how bad their service was.

What a great location and fabulous food! The staff is so friendly and quick to handle any need you may have. The outdoor patio is a great place to sit and they also have a huge separate meeting room in the back for large partoes/​events.

First time visit. Portions are huge and the shrimp pizza was great, fabulous waitress and atmosphere was relaxing and fun. The shrimp po’ boy had a great sauce on it– ask for extra to dip the fries in. We’ll be back.

XXX buffalo chicken hoagie with lemon pepper sprinkles and blue cheese crumbles… Outstanding. Only gave it three stars bc I’m partial to the Covington location.

It was super bright and I lost my appetite.
We left without ordering.

The one in Madison, Ga. Is good.

Do not order the alfredo. I ordered the homestlye alfredo and added chicken. The chicken was over seasoned with a very strong flavor like vinegar so I sent it back. The pasta was under seasoned and tasteless. The sauce seperated right before my eyes. On the bright side our waiter was very pleasant.

Service was great. I had the Italian cheeseburger. Was not a fan of the Italian seasoning. It kind of reminded me of a bad meatloaf. The fries were good and the service was great but I doubt I’ll go back.

After family and friend’s recommendations, I decided to have dinner at the Conyers location last night. To begin the beer I ordered was lukewarm. The cheese sticks were cold. Our waitress tried showing off by memorizing everyone’s order instead of writing it down on a pad. Needless to say our orders came out wrong. The hamburger was undercooked and my calzone was simply a mess. Once home, the fun didn’t stop. I’ve been up all night with stomach and intestinal cramping as well as constantly vomiting.

Ok they had it together today!
Hot fast, fresh & good!

We are very familiar with the amici on Covington. We’ve always enjoyed eating there. The Conyers amici is lacking in everyway. First with the strange table arrangement continues with the wierd bar set up. Secondly the sounds in the restaurant is so loud you can hardly hear your dining partner. Last, but most importantly poor choices on their tap beer.
We give every new restaurant in Conyers a fair chance when it comes to the food they serve. Needless to say we rarely visit any restaurant in Conyers twice, and amici is no exception.
I am pretty picky about my food and eating out has become so expensive, that I do have a certain expectation concerning my food. That food ordered would be fresh, freshly prepared and served hot. That doesn’t seem to be such a monumental task, but here in Conyers it is the case.

I think that was a frozen pizza I just ate. No sauce, cheese was rubber, no oil, dough was thick. Not like the other Amici’s I’ve been too.
Plus was service was great.

Just ok. Service was attentive and timely. Facility is clean though a bit crowded the way the tables are set up. Food was somewhat lacking. Meatball Sub was just ok. Meatballs were obviously frozen and had a lot of filler. Way too much cheese. Marinara sauce was weak so they seemed to overcompensate with oregano which over powered the entire sandwich. Philly Steak had so much au jus it came pouring out on first bite, made the bread soggy quickly. Not worthy of the «Philly» name.
Overall just ok. Typical Conyers restaurant. Another chain with mediocre food.

This place recently opened near my job, so a co-​worker and I decided to stop in. It’s a pizza, wings, and pasta restaurant inside a small shopping center. We went during a lunch rush, and the restaurant was probably a little over half full.
First sign of great service was when the hostess opened the front door and greeted us! We were seated and a minute later met our server. The atmosphere inside is very family friendly. They have a small bar against the wall, but it’s kind of hidden by the booth area. Our server was very friendly and pretty attentive throughout the entire service.
So now it’s time to talk about the food. We got the Gar Chee Mar (Garlic Cheese Marinara) for an appetizer. It’s pretty much 4 buttery sub rolls, topped with melted mozzarella cheese, with a side of their Amici marinara. It’s a really simple thing. When she brought it, I was almost taken aback that I was spending $ 5 on this. Also, their signature Amici marinara tasted like a generic Kroger’s spaghetti sauce and was kind of cold when she brought it out. Overall, this is a VERY straight forward, no frills appetizer.
We got a large (17″) buffalo chicken pizza topped with fried chicken marinated in Amici wing sauce, ranch, and feta crumbles. First thing I notice is that the crust where the toppings lie is SUPER thin, while the outside crust was very soft, doughy, and had a buttery glaze to it. I love when the crust has that almost raw, doughy type of chew to it. The Amici wing sauce had an interesting tang, not sure how I really felt about it. This pizza had no marinara, no any kind of sauce. Overall, the outside crust was the best part. The other flavors were nothing memorable. If you just get a single slice it’s $ 5, which is not worth it to me.
I would choose the $ 5 specialty slice from Big Pie in the Sky over Amici any day. If you’ve ever been to Big Pie in the Sky, their slices are twice the size and DELICIOUS. Even the pies at Big Pie are a few dollars cheaper.

After 5 visits: So-​so food. Some pretty good, some really awful. Fried artichoke hearts are awesome, and who, after all, can mess up a wedge salad? Stick to what they know: cheap pizza slice and salad special with some extra sauce on the side for the dry pizza.
Now the uh-​oh oh no: uncomfortable chairs, tiny tables, and aren’t we all just sick of concrete floors? Immature teenaged and early 20s waitstaff; one waitress crying coming out of the ladies room with another waitress, and others standing around looking lost, and others standing around chatting while I overheard many diners asking about their orders, empty drinks, etc., and saw guests seated but then sitting for 10 – 15 minutes with no service. It’s simple: Hire waitstaff that lives with their parents and you’ve got a disaster in the making; Hire mature waitstaff working for a living and you’ve hired an asset to your business.
This place needs to decide what it wants to be. It advertises itself as «Pizza, Wings, Friends» (Moronic), which I interpret as «we’re bar food, come have beer and watch the game.» And is too brightly lit and full of families with kids throwing everything they can get their hands on to the floor. With about zero spent on interior finishes it’s noisy as can be-​not the place for adults to have dinner AT ALL. The bar area has no character whatsoever, a column splitting up the 10 or so bar seats into two groups, and uncomfortable chairs, so I doubt friends are gonna hang here for the game.
This restaurant/​sports bar/​cheesy chuck’s/whatever can’t be all things to all people in one big room, and is doomed unless they become known as a take-​out place, which may very well happen. It’s a great location for take-​out business. Unless Amici’s puts families with children in one dining area far from the bar, and adults sans kids in another, adults sans kids will come here once.
Please fix the music system.
