LESSON LEARNED NEVER NEVER AGAIN
I purchased a set of KUMO tires rated for 85,000 miles in July of 2012. At 33,000 there is less than an 1/​8″ tread left so I contacted them and they said to bring the car in. Mark checked the alignment and it was fine and couldn’t explain why they wore so quickly. Discount Tire or Pep boys without question would prorate a new set of tires and discount them to keep your business. Mind you the car was taken back to A & A Tire /​Goodyear every 5,000mi for tire rotation and oil change. I dealt with Mark and he said he would look in to it. He showed in the system when the $ 800.00 set of tires were purchased and the dates when were rotated and balanced and then asked me if I had the receipts. I explained that I had my credit card statement when I bought them but no receipts when they were rotated. He told he would check with the factory to see what he could do but he really need the receipts ALTHOUGH he had everything in his system. He said he would call me back but I never heard back so I called him and he proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do unless I had the receipts. I got the impression that I was bothering him because of his attitude. Not having the paper receipts was just a way to get out covering the warranty on the tires he sold although he showed everything in the computer. When your supposed to be in computer one wouldn’t think they would have to keep receipts. You don’t have to do with other reputable tire companies.
I’m VERY disappointed with their customer service I received and their unwillingness to help. Their word and what they supposedly means absolutely nothing.

Unfortunately Curtis and Tammy are no longer work here. BUT the owner does seem to be consistent at keeping the business staffed with an honest, knowledgeable courteous team. The staff at this Goodyear location has been my #1 mechanic team for many years. I do hope they continue to treat the customers as well as they have in the past. I appreciate their service tremendously!

When you take your car to the shop, it’s typically not for fun… it’s extremely important that you can get to and from your destinations safely. You also want to know the servicer stands behind their work and makes decisions that are in your best interest. I wanted to take a vacation and had a computer issue with my truck causing the lights not to work properly. The dealer for this auto quoted me a price of $ 600 and a couple of days. I had planned to leave the next morning on the trip. Curtis took the truck in around lunch, listened to my whining about the trip, and said we could be looking around $ 400. Five hours later he called and informed me he had sent an employee to Atlanta to pick up a part for around $ 100 and I could come pick up my truck for the trip with a total cost of less than $ 200. You can’t beat that! Great service, caring, price consideration and knowing the value of my time! EXCELLENT!
