Wow! Loved finding this place. Top notch food quality and service but an interesting twist on standard Mexican fare

Excellent food served at this establishment. Best selection of tequila that I have come across in a very long time. Customer service was very personal and pleasant. Great location in old town Conyers. The seating is limited but worth the wait.

Pretty solid restaurant with consistent quality. I’ve been here several times. I prefer my Mexican food to be simple, so I stay away from their quesadillas and house burrito… Both have too much going on inside. But their tacos and speciality dishes are pretty good.

Not much in the way of vegan options, so your best bet is to go vegetarian and ask them to substitute tofu for beef in their signature«Street Tacos» dish. This is comfort food at it’s best. The freshly prepared guacamole is a must try, and the house margaritas are top notch.

Good lord this place is fantastic! Went for lunch while passing through — wish I lived closer, I would be a regular. Had a spinach mushroom quesadilla and it was the best I’ve ever tasted. Also tried the fried guacamole — unique and delicious! The restaurant is cute with a lot of character. We went at a non-busy time but it was easy to imagine it getting very crowded during normal lunch and dinner hours. I highly recommend!

This place had a nice ambiance. I got some tacos for lunch and I was not pleased. I do hope that they work on their customer service it took forever for our server to take our order and even longer for our meals. I guess I wasn’t a regular. Too bad. For the price I expected more!

Quite possibly my favorite restaurant right now! The Tacos de Calle are absolutely great! The freshly made guacamole is great if you order it medium. The house margaritas are really great and they sell the mix so you can make them at home if you would want to. They even have live music some nights. If you’re visiting, go here!

Enjoyed it. We went on a Monday night and were surprised by the long wait(over 30 minutes) it is a tiny place and it was Christmas week… so we stuck it out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating despite the crowd. We were offered drinks while we waited and the Jalapeño Margarita is to DIE for! By far the best margarita I’ve had anywhere else in metro Atlanta. My shrimp enchiladas were a bit on the salty side, but still good none the less.

Popped in for a recent dinner during a work trip down to the area. Mexican sounded enticing before a viewing of Spectre, and here I came. Managed to find a seat at the packed bar. Walls of tequila beckon beyond. A fantastic back drop for any Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, the mood was slightly shaken(literally) by the omnipresent on/off of the massive generator parked outside that would shake the building and drown out conversation every 10 minutes or so. One thinks there has to be a better way??? On to the food… Ordered the guacamole to start alongside the chile relleno. Apparently that was forgotten and it came after the chile relleno. No matter. Guacamole was very flavorful. Chile relleno was stuffed with a pulled beef, and was good, not great. Flan came for dessert with a drink of a lovely anejo. It was more pudding like(i.e. thick) in texture than I’m used to, but the flavor was there. All in all, an interesting place to eat and drink amidst mostly uninspiring chain spots. 3.5 if I could.

Hands down one of the best authentic Mexican food around. The guacamole is great, the trio appetizer is a great deal. The Tacos de Calle are a must get for first time visitors! Wash it all down with one of their house pomegranate margaritas!

Great authentic Mexican food and good service I just popped in for chips and salsa… It came as a trio and the my are all equally good. The tortillas were freshly prepared in house and seasoned well Deserts were tasty as well– served with fresh coffee Next time I will have to dive into the menu because people all around had the best looking dishes

This was my first visit. The house margaritas were on point. My whole party enjoyed there food. I love the small atmosphere, It’s so cozy. I ordered the shrimp tacos, they were so good. The wait was longer than expected for the food but it was definitely worth the wait. I’ll definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place! It feels like home when I’m here. The restaurant is small but that makes the atmosphere more intimate. You must try the house margarita, guacamole, and hamburger. Best in town!

The menu is very limited. The restaurant as a whole needs to lose the snubby attitude; they are just so upscale for Conyers, Ga. Especially since you past by the bathroom and can smell raw human waste from the Septic Tank in the hall. They got a $ 3.00 monthly treatment at Dollar General that could fix that. For $ 4.00 a pop on tacos they should be able to afford this. The whole place feels like the place the snubs go to thumb their nose down at the 90% of people of regular folk. So they definitely need to work on warming up to community. Be apart of the community that helped pay the bills and build the brand instead of acting like Las Flores is too good for Rockdale; but still wants Rockdale Citizens money to prosper. If they can work on more economical prices for the tiny amounts of food they give and reaching out to the community in a more service warm type manner; then more stars will come in my next review. I have given them three chances. I continue to go back improvement is steady and slow.

This place was suggested by the front desk at our hotel. It was very fresh and authentic like she said. We all got the same thing, the street tacos with onions. They were really good, reminded me of pierogis when I saw them, almost that texture. The chips and salsa were really, and I’ve never seen chips like that, round discs. We got the fried guacamole appetizer which was great. This reminded me a little of falafel with it being fried and all. There was a live band that were decent and the outdoor seating was really nice. I’ll be back here next time in town.

As a former employee of Las Flores, I may be a little biased. but this place is the best. I haven’t worked there in over a year, but still eat there VERY often. The service is friendly and fun & the food is always impeccable. Definitely worth a visit if you are new in town, or looking for something a little different than you typical«Mexican» fare. My current business ordered to-go from Las Flores quite often. Ask for Brenda if you’re placing a to-go order during the lunch hour, she is FABULOUS. Always has our orders spot on & ready when I arrive to pick it up. If you have more than one bag she always offers to help you to your car, which is super helpful. I love this place & will keep coming back.

You know that feeling after certain meals where you feel like there’s a film of oil/grease over your face, clogging your pores? That’s how I felt after eating at Las Flores. Located in the Old Towne area in Conyers, Las Flores is advertised as serving authentic Mexican street food. They have an intimate and cozy atmosphere inside, and by cozy I mean the space is very small and narrow. If you’re claustrophobic, they also have a covered outside patio as well. I ordered two entrees: The Mexican hot dog is a bacon wrapped dog covered with pico de gallo, ketchup, jalapenos, and a generous slab of guacamole. It also comes with yucca fries drizzled with an aoli. There is nothing negative that you can say about the taste. All of the ingredients are simple but contribute great flavors and texture. I will say that if you don’t like guacamole, then this is not the choice for you. Also, I will say that for $ 9, they could have given another hot dog, especially since they only give you four yucca fries. But I will probably still order this again sometime in the future. The steak quesadilla comes in a large serving, and they include a side of pico de gallo. Inside of the whole wheat tortilla, there is a hefty portion of steak with melted mozzarella cheese. The only negative comment that I had was that the meat a bit too salty. I’ve been here multiple times and do plan to come back. It’s definitely one of the better choices in Conyers. I haven’t eaten anything from this menu that was absolutely horrible. The service is solid too.
