Since starting this endeavor, Ladd Films has been welcomed into families, walked alongside young entrepreneurs, and witnessed couples committing their lives to each other. We’ve shared in heartbreak and triumphs, joy and astonishment, passion and purpose, and all of this with a camera in hand. We believe there is so much beauty in the ordinary that can be easily overlooked. No matter the project we are working on, we strive to tell a story that reminds people of the beauty in the ordinary.

History

Established in 2012.

Ladd Films is a mom and pop shop, literally! We started out filming family events and soon after were asked to film our first wedding. Now we primarily shoot weddings, but are open to all film projects.

Meet the Business Owner

Jake Lizzie L.

Business Owner

JAKE, the pop of the shop (father or 2 film muses) has been filming life events since his bmx biking days in high school. He values meaningful relationships and getting to know people for who they truly are. He currently works as a full time videographer for a publication company in Minneapolis. Jake strongly believes in thinking outside the box and not letting his work become routine or like every other videographer company out there.

LIZZIE, the mom of the shop has recently developed her love for film. She started with photography and made the transition to film two years ago. Lizzie is a stay at home mom, barista, and lover of living passionately. She values the art of videography for the stories it can tell, the beauty it can show, and the extraordinary it can bring to the ordinary.
