Coppell Modern Dentistry

I have no idea how this place has a 4 star rating! I’m not the type to rant by leaving a negative review, but I hope my experience doesn’t happen to someone else. I was a patient for the last 4 years, and I had a bridge put in last year. I got tired of them canceling appointments on me and NEVER answering the phone– in fact I tried to call 15 minutes ago when they are supposed to be there, and it rolled over to their answering service. I wish I had the luxury of deciding not to work when I felt like it. I went to a new Dentist in Coppell in December to find out that the bridge that is less than a year old, is so poorly fitted, that my natural teeth underneath are decaying. Gross! I have asked and been approved for a refund, and have yet to receive anything. Every time I’ve tried to resolve this, no one is available. I tried to stop by when I got off work at 4:30 on a day they were supposed to be open until 6. No one was there! WTF??? This is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever been. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Dental work is not cheap… Especially when you have to have it redone!

Aweful! Bad experience. There was an assistant called Maya. She is such a rude person, while helping the doctor clean my teeth, she dropped the Water spray pipe straight into my throat! She Was not apologetic too and she simply walked away! I still have throat irritation because of that. I have never seen such a rude and unpleasant irresponsible assistant in a doctors office ever! The way she was talking to the doctor was also bad! The way she behaved right from the beginning while taking xrays, while polishing my teeth was very rude… Very very rude attitude! I had good experience before. Just because of this lady and her rude attitude, how she treated a patient I would not recommend this place at all. Especially that technician! I think I heard her name as Maya! Dont go to her! Miserable lady!

I am not a fan of giving all 5 stars but I feel like I have just experienced the best dental experience I’ve had in a long time.
From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and not just a number. I did not have to wait for more than 2 minutes before Dr. Street had me meet her in her private office to talk about my concerns regarding my dental health. We talked very easily and openly for about 10 minutes before I went and sat down in «the chair» and then she continued to talk with me about possible causes for concerns I had been having. Dr. Street pointed out things I had never been told before, but it all made sense. Headaches I have had all my life could actually be caused by grinding my teeth at night.
The cleaning experience was a breeze and the hygienist was very nice and experienced.
I will definitely be coming back here and recommend all who are looking for a dentist, also make this location their new home.

Ridiculously nice staff. Extremely knowledgeable and patient. Super thorough. Would go here for the rest of my life if I could…

So I’m a gross human being and I never found a new dentist after I moved to DFW about 4 years ago. You see, I grew up with an awesome and very honest, very Mormon dentist. I was convinced any dentist I found would try to scam me into getting excessive treatments. I FINALLY decided to stop being disgusting and go try to find a dentist and ended up at Coppell Modern Dentistry.
Everyone here was super duper extra friendly and truly seemed interested in making sure I was comfortable. The dentist I saw was Dr. Parrot, who mentioned that I might want a nightguard (which is something I’ve had before so I didn’t feel like it was too scamtastic) and was not at all aggressively trying to sell it. In fact, as soon as I said I wasn’t interested right now, it wasn’t brought up again. They also had all kind of fancy technology so it felt like the future in there.
My dental hygienist worked really quickly and my teeth look all sparkling clean now. Lucky for me, still no cavities after all these years, so it was a relatively painless visit.
One thing that could be improved on is I never received any kind of paperwork — everything is done online. So when I went home and tried to explain that I was getting some kind of laser cleaning to my husband, I had no idea what it was called. It also meant I couldn’t Google it to get a better idea of what I had signed up for. I need things in writing, because even though I’m nodding my head while it’s being explained, the information will definitely fall out of my brain as soon as I walk out the door.

Took me 6 weeks to get a crown put in from the initial dental visit. There are signs in the office that state crowns in one day-​but obviously that is the exception to the rule. When I told the dentist this morning that the crown had come out-​she told me several patients have swallowed their temp crowns. I paid up front for the crown and that is what really frustrated me with this whole ordeal-​and the fact that it took me 6 weeks to get back in for a 30 minute cemented crown. I was told they would use numbing gel before the crown was cemented and none was used-​guess that was my punishment for being frustrated. I don’t normally write reviews but after this whole ordeal if I can save someone the hassle I just went through it will be worth it. The discomfort and unprofessional «punishment» was totally uncalled for.

Just changed DDS due to insurance change. While they are a chain product I didn’t feel like a # but a patient here. Great people here and very thoughtful. Didn’t try to push anything extra on my first visit. Bridgette did my cleaning and she was great and even gentle. Looking forward to staying here for a while…

Went to Coppell Modern Dentistry yesterday for a cleaning and some dental work and was so impressed! I live in Irving, but chose Coppell Modern Dentistry from the reviews of other Unilocalers and I definately made the right choice. I appreciated the professionalism by Dr. Street and all of her staff.

WOW! I just visited today and I was very impressed. I came in for a first-​time exam and cleaning.
I had a Groupon but everyone in the office, from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist herself treated me like royalty! I have never felt so welcome and appreciated in a medical office before.
The facility was very state-​of-​the-​art. I was so impressed with the flat-​screen TV in each patient room. I was so relaxed.
I highly recommend Coppell Modern Dentistry and I will return!

I found my new Dental home, this place is as good as it gets. For 39 bucks you get a newbie special x-​ray exams, cleaning a full photo shoot of your grill. I’m still waiting for Christian to tag my photos in Facebook! No worries they would never do that but it was funny laughing about it.
The Dr is very friendly spent a lot of time with me and was very informative about my dental needs. Our family is pretty diverse so she made each and every one of us feel at home & related with us on a personal level. I was super impressed with my youngest who is new to the whole dental scene. She behaved better then me. I believe it had to do with the proffesionalism & care from the staff & doctor
They are pretty techy they email you your appointment reminder, they call & I dig that with my busy lifestyle I tend to get side tracked & forget. You can also fill out your paper work @ home via computer in your comfy pj’s at your leisure. That was a plus!
My idea of going to the dentist is just blah, but not here. They have free Coffee, snacks, & the ladies up front are fun to chit chat with. I highly recommend you try it out, at least take advantage of the $ 39 dental exam & cleaning after all you only do have one smile

I moved with Dr. Street to this office and I am very satisfied. The offices are clean, modern and everyone was very accommodating. I get extremely nervous when i go to the dentist however Dr. Street understands that and adapts when i come in. I have never felt so comfortable at a dentist office.
