Dycus Insurance Group was started in June 2014 to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge to each client based on their individual needs.

Meet the Business Owner

Jerell Dycus D.

Business Owner

With over 17 years in the insurance business, Jerell Dycus decided to take the step out as an independent insurance broker with a vision to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Jerell started out selling life insurance policies door to door at a very young age and then continued in the business as a life specialist for Allstate Financial. Jerell began to broaden his knowledge and skills with a wide array of products including retirement options and his personal favorite, Long Term Care insurance.

The last ten years of Jerell’s career has been spent working across the nation as an independent catastrophe property adjuster for State Farm. Here he learned the meaning of policy language and the understanding of claims ranging from minor wind claims, large loss/​total loss claims, flood claims with FEMA to working everyday claims including liability exposures and subrogation. This is where Jerell feels he is able to better assist his clients by answering those «why» questions.
