Legacy ER & Urgent Care

This ER/​Urgent care the overall best place ever. I will never go to the hospital ER anymore. The staff the doctors, the front desk are one top notch staff. Dr Laporte the best!!! Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

They changed their name, so I was a little confused looking for this place. I was the only patient there and wait time was literally 5 minutes! This is awesome because all other urgent care clinics in the area have wait times of 2 hours– nobody has time for that! The doctor was very kind and I consider him one of the best doctors I’ve been to. He explained everything that he was seeing very thoroughly and he definitely had great professional bedside manner. This was a great clinic and if I get sick again this is my go to place.

I had to take my 3 year old in and everyone was fantastic! It’s not often everyone on staff is great with kids, but everyone here was. They got us in immediately. Focused on making her comfortable. The doctor explained to me what he thought was going on and gave me options. We decided to do blood work to be 100% sure what was going on. They were great at that too. She didn’t even flinch. I would 100% recommend this office hands down!

Showed up at 9:30pm with pain. Was in and out within 45 minutes. All at urgent care pricing.
Dr. was prompt, courteous and spent time to diagnose and explain. Staff was very pleasant and followed up the following day.

Fast, clean, really cool doctor, I felt better the same day.

I had a hard time believing the reviews of this place (frankly I’m still a little wary of some of them), but thought I’d give it a shot anyway. Had one of my semiannual upper respiratory infections that come with the start of allergy season.
I always procrastinate going to the doc or urgent care because it’s such a hassle, but I know I won’t next time — this place really is great. I can’t come up with a single complaint. I guess there was a tiny spot on the floor?
So, I timed it… Granted, this was a Tuesday afternoon, but it was 41 minutes from the moment I walked in to walking back out, and that included waiting for them to prepare an injection.
The nurses that worked with me were all super sharp. One of them caught that I mentioned a medication allergy offhand, before the one making records officially asked. So when the other nurse asked if I had medication allergies, the second one answered her.
Whoa. What the heck. Nobody does that, y’all. They are crazy on-​their-​game.
Even though the visit was short, they had already verified my insurance and were ready with my correct copay when it was time to go.
On the way out, feeling a bit like I was in the Twilight Zone, I asked the nurse, «are y’all always this amazing, or am I just having an unusually good experience?»
«Yep, we’re fast,» she said, like she’d heard it all before.
Well, damn. I’ll be back no later than the beginning of spring allergy season, then.

Multiple visits here for different reasons. This place is convenient for me to go to as i live nearby. Clean facilities, short to no wait. Staffs always attentive and friendly. My visits never last more than 30 minutes, but i dont have complicated issues nor i was an ER patient. Overall, i will visit here again if i need an urgent care.

The absolute best urgent care and er! I didnt want to go to a general er because the wait time is forever! I popped in this place with my son one night and was in and out in less than an hour, even after him getting staples. The staff and dr’s are AMAZING! They are so down to earth, seem to truly care about the patients, and did everything to make my son feel relaxed and welcomed. Will definitely make this our place to go for uc/​er.

Very helpful and professional staff. Treatment was superb, would highly recommend. Nice to have a new clean facility in Coppell for after hours care. If the need arises again I will most definitely use E-​Care!

Went there for the first time last night in a considerable amount of pain. They got me right in and addressed the problem very quickly. The showed a great deal of compassion and were fantastic. the facility is very clean and appearred well equiped to handle almost anything. would go there again for sure!

I would highly recommend E-​Care Emergency Center. I have taken my daughter to the Coppell office three different times and have received wonderful care each time. Not only was the Doctor wonderful but the staff was very caring and pleasant. Got us in to see the doctor right away. We will be back.

I had really bad neck and shoulder pain and E-​Care in Coppell was close and convenient for me. When I got there, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I was helped right away and Dr. Dennington was absolutely wonderful. He took the time to listen to my issue and quickly figured out that I was experiencing muscle spasms. He gave me a muscle relaxant shot and wrote up prescriptions to help treat the pain. Overall, I had a really good experience and the shot didn’t hurt at all; he was just that good! In the future, I have any other issues, I’ll be sure to come back to E-​Care.

We used the urgent care. service was quick and friendly and I trusted that my son received appropriate care for his needs. Location is fantastic and we saw a real Dr. who looked over the issue before assigning a treatment plan.

I went to E-​Care after work on a Friday because I’d inured my foot and needed x-​rays. I’ve been to several facilities like this but never experienced such a friendly staff and high level of care.
They got me in to see a doctor almost immediately and he quickly found out what was wrong with my foot.
The facility itself is also really nice and very clean. It was worth the drive from Southlake and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Everyone I encountered was friendly and pleasant. I felt right at home and that’s saying a lot since I had to visit while on vacation from California. My entire visit from start to finish was approximately 45 minutes! Dr. Lapporte is running a great facility. Thank you for your hospitality.

I live in Coppell, so the E-​Care on Denton tap is extremely convenient for me and my family. It’s nothing like an emergency room-​and by that I mean the time you spend waiting in the waiting room. We’re always in and out. The staff is professional and very attentive. We’ve been here multiple of occasions and it’s always great service. I would highly recommend.

Excellent and quick response for my 88 year old mother when we took her in on Memorial Day. Very thankful to have this new emergency care center so close to home.

So happy to post this review regarding the E-​CARE emergency center in Coppell. I arrived in the midst of a terrible storm at 2am. They were so efficient and caring from the moment I entered the facility. Truly the cleanest, kindest emergency experience I have ever had. They were able to treat my pain and had all the equipment needed to diagnose my problem. This facility is an urgent care with exceptional after hours emergency CARE. I’ll choose them every time. If you are considering «should I go»? «Is this an emergency»? They will treat you and help you realize when you don’t feel well… don’t wait… go to the E-​Care in Coppell. A special Thank you to: Dr Rob Lapporte-​the most patient and informative ER doctor I’ve ever encountered, Meghan Lewis and Gloria Beasley (RNs) for their listening to my concerns and addressing them. They were so very present and nothing diverted their attention from my care! And lastly, the sonogram gentleman who had to drive through a terrible storm to help me with my diagnosis… you are an angel!

Recently my wife had HyperTension and felt a little dizzy. This being a nearby facility, we took her there. She could have been prescribed a medication and monitored for sometime. Instead they did not give any medication. Rather, started doing a barrage of tests — CT Scan of brain, Chest X-​Rays, EKG, Blood Test (after struggling and much pain to find veins), and Urine tests. All of them were negative and at the end of doing the test the doctor gave a prescription and sent us off home. We visited the primary care after the next business day, only to find they did not do important Thyroid test but did all other tests mentioned above.
ER Staff and nurses are friendly but 3 persons (one male nurse, one female nurse, and the lady in-​charge of blood tests) tried unsuccessfully to find veins and get blood for the test. They have poked at least ten times and caused much pain. This is in contrast to the next business day at CPL labs for Thyroid test where it took a split second for finding veins.
It looks like most of the tests done at the ER facility are done as part of ER protocol and in my opinion illustrates the «waste» at ER and what’s wrong with the healthcare in the US (most of the time to protect one’s ass with protocol than actually rendering any useful healthcare)
