Wow, what a pleasant surprise this place was. It looked pretty simple from the outside, and the menu had a few surprises on it along with the expected country meat and two fare. The portions are very generous and the service was quite attentive. I had some delicious catfish, my wife enjoyed her burger, and my friends wife made a meal out of the special stuffed baked potato. I snagged some of the pulled pork that fell off the top; it was much tastier than the BBQ from the place we ate dinner the night before. We’ll defintely return here the next time we’re out in the area for some rafting.

Excellent food!
The pulled pork was incredibly tender, and came with BBQ sauce on the side that had a bit of sweet and sour taste to it. The fried mushrooms were battered in a light, not heavy, batter, and the chips were thick and crunchy. My only complaint is that I wish the chips were salted or seasoned. I posted a pic of my meal.

My wife and I were just passing through and decided to stop. This food was awesome. You could tell that it was all fresh. Our waitress was very friendly and attentitive. We also took a trip to the salad bar that was very fresh. For my wife and I, our ticket was just a few cents over $ 30. I will stop here again anytime I am in the area and looking for a great meal!

Friday night is the time to go here. All you can eat catfish or popcorn shrimp for 9.95. Great catfish — there’s is not the usual heavy cornmeal batter is a lighter almost tempura style — yummy! And they make great baked apples & fresh mashed potatoes & gravy.

The new owners of copper Kettle have significantly improved the restaurant. It is in Ducktown which is DRY, so don’t ask for the wine list. My wife and I have tried most of the items on the menu, most are quite good. The barbequed ribs are the best on the menu. We almost always get them to go, without sauce. They are tremendous.
