Established in 2004.

James Bier, the founder of Frame & Crate has over 25 years of framing experience. James has worked as a repair framer for Art Basel Miami Beach for four consecutive years. Frame & Crate focuses on the importance of details towards the balance of frame and art. We try to give more emphasis to the art rather than overstate the framing.

Business Owner

James Bier learned the value of hand crafted products at an early age. His one grandfather was a wood turner and his other grandfather and upholsterer. While working part time as a framer James obtained a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from FIU. He opened Frame & Crate in the fall of 2004.
