History

Established in 1993.

Dr. Mirtha Amador has been serving her community since her dental school graduation in 1991 – 1992. Coral Gables is a beautiful town in South Florida, where most of the well known and respected come to seek treatment. Dr. Amador is dedicated to serving all, regardless of economic means. In 1998, Dr. Amador designed and built a new office in the center of Coral Gables. One visit to this office and you will know why this is truly a family practice where you can feel comfortable and remain a patient for life!

Dr. Mirtha Amador graduated from the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in the early 90’s. Dr. Mirtha Amador is dedicated to continuing her dental education and does so on a yearly basis, which has included post-​doctoral training at the Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, FL. Additionally, she studied at the LVI Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada, a post graduate dental learning institution that offers doctors comprehensive learning and an advanced curriculum dedicated to excellent patient care. Dr. Mirtha Amador happily resides in South Florida with her two teenage daughters.

This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentists office. Dr. Amador and her staff are extremely welcoming, accommodating and straight-​forward. I’ve never been «excited» about going to the dentist until now. Whenever I come in for my cleanings Patty is amazingly friendly and conversational, and always done an amazing job making my teeth extra clean! During my first appointment with the team it was discovered I had 10 cavities… yes, 10! They explained all of my options to me until I was comfortable moving forward with one that was financially feasible considering my dental insurance situation. During the two sessions it took to fix my cavity issue, they made the experience as comfortable as possible — applying medication that would ease the pain/​discomfort and also giving me laughing gas (at my request). The procedure was actually quite comfortable! I knew this was the only place I would come to take care of my smile.
I have definitely recommended Gables Exceptional Dentistry to my family and friends. My boyfriend is also now a very happy customer!

What a surprise & pleasant experience !
Being use to Male dentist with large hands and having to open my mouth so wide with more jaw pains days after my dental treatment, but with Doctor Mirtha Amador was a true blessing.
I was shocked when she said that there was no need to open my mouth so wide because she was able to perform my treatment without locking up my jaws.
I highly recommend her And her professional staff, now I don’t put off my dental health.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Amador for the past 20 years. The name of her current practice describes the kind of work they offer, Gables «Exceptional» Dentistry. Dr. Amador is very knowledgable and has many years of experience. I had porcelain veneers done by her a few years ago and I’m constantly reminded of what an amazing job she did every time I get compliments on my teeth! I highly recommend Dr. Amador!

After a bad experience elsewhere I was referred to Gables Exceptional Dentistry and For the first time in my life I can honestly say I don’t fear going to the dentist. Dr. Amador and her staff made my experience relaxing and easy. I’ve done from cleanings to fillings to even my Invisalign treatment. They are amazing and done wonders for me. Both Dr Amador and her staff are all knowledgeable, patient, warm and welcoming and most of all consistent. I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

Gables Exceptional Dentistry is by far the best dentist in Miami. The warm and welcoming staff makes me look forward to my appointments. The cleanings are excellent, quick, and painless! Best dentist and team in town! I haven’t had the best experience with dentists in the past, but I only feel comfortable at Gables Exceptional Dentistry. The office is also very clean and was recently renovated. I would highly recommend this practice!

Don’t get fooled by the luxurious and friendly PPl there ever since I went to this place my life as changed tons from having A filling done 3 times on one teeth because it never stopped hurting after to –now getting a rootcanal– to super deep fillings in almost all of my teeth to having food get stuck in one of my back molars and also still to this date have a supposedly temporary filling in my right molar that she was suppose to take out never did she doesn’t even remember very unprofessional which is terrible … This has and is my biggest mistake going to this place ! You also don’t have a conversation with the assist next to you while your working on someone’s mouth !! And I also found out that these silver fillings are super bad for your health and so Dr Amador you should always recommend and let your customers know white fillings are better even if it means losing the customers because they can’t afford it !!! I leave it in gods hands :)

Dr. Amador and her entire staff at Gables Exceptional Dentistry are all fantastic. The office is immaculately clean and state-​of-​art. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Patty, the hygienist, does a very thorough job. Dr. Amador is amazing — she has a very soft touch, she’s patient and warm, and up-​to-​date on the latest dental technology. Best Dentist and Dental Hygienist in Miami. I use to go to another dentist several years ago. My wife is the one that got me to go here, and the rest is history! Staff is A+++ and friendly. I usually hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Amador is the best at what she does and her staff makes you feel comfortable. What are u waiting for?

Gables Exceptional Dentistry is a very modern and nice looking dental office. They can do just about everything on the spot, so no having half a procedure and having to come back later. They are a little more expensive than most, but personally I don’t mind paying for convenience. The staff are excellent. Patty is probably the coolest hygienist I’ve ever had and she has a magic touch. Get’s the job done with no pain ever (the gas always helps too ;)) Dr Amador is great too (even when telling me what I’ve been doing incorrectly). All in all this place is great.

Before scheduling an appointment with Dr. Amador I called to confirm that they take my insurance and they told me they did. After receiving numerous bills I find out that she is not contracted with any insurance. So they try to get what they can out of them and then bill you for the rest. Since she is not contracted, your insurance will not cover as much as it would if you were to go to a dentist who is, forcing you to pay a lot more… which completely defeats the purpose of paying for insur. It doesn’t even matter that they lied … everyone is required to sign a form stating that you are responsible for anything your insurance does not cover, so they can pretty much charge you anything they want. I just had similar procedures done at my new dentist and paid a $ 20 compared to over $ 500 I paid at this office and I used the exact same insurance. Dealing with this office has been anything but pleasant… I highly recommend choosing another dentist.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Perez and his staff. We were recently visiting Miami with our 3 year old son, who had a very bad toothache (and a cavity to go with it). Dr. Perez accommodated us with an emergency visit and took care of his tooth. Dr. Perez and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, and helped to make our son’s first experience at the dentist a very positive one. Thank you!

Very nice dentist and staff was great, but this was OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. They actually almost convinced me to convert dentists, until the bill was over $ 200 for something that took 5 minutes and only the use of cement. I even asked for some sort of discount, but was refused. I feel so ripped off that I actually am posting my first Unilocal review.

The office is modern and very nicely decorated. The staff is super friendly, perky, and courteous. And the doctor and dental hygienist are fantastic. Everyone goes the extra mile to make you feel as comfortable as possible, in fact they actually makes going to the dentist… dare I say it… an enjoyable experience.
