Grove Cleaners

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CLOTHES OR YOUR MONEY! They charge you more and more each time for awful laundry. When you get it back its either staind or smells like a nasty laundry room. Oh and they also lost an expensive pair of pants of mine and didn’t do anything about it! They also shrink your clothes! I tried to call them to fix these outragous charges and they basically wiped their a$* with it so im letting my credit card company handle it.

I have only been here twice because its close to my office. The first time, I took two shirts that each had a stain and they were unable to take them off. Took them back and they wanted to charge me again for a job they did not do right the first time. I was in a rush for a wedding abd leaving the country, took a suit so they could make the sleeves on the jacket longer… and instead of making them longer they made them shorter! Didmt have time to try it on and realized the day of the wedding. Took it to a local dry cleaner in Europe to find out that they had made all the cuts wrong and almost ruined a very nice suit. Do not go to this place. Super unprofessional and worst service ever.

Called to see if they could clean my wedding dress and was put on hold (#1), the lady comes back after maybe 3 minutes and asks what I’m calling about, so for the second time I say I am waiting to find out if they clean wedding dresses, she puts me on hold (#2), I wait another 5 minutes (yes, I really want my dress cleaned), and another person grabs the phone and says hello, so for the third time I tell them I am on hold regarding a wedding dress, and can you guess what she said?: «ONE MOMENT PLEASE» (#3). So, now I have been on the phone for about 10 minutes and the lady picks up the phone again and when I say for the fourth time I am waiting to get my dress cleaned she hangs up on me.
So… They are not getting my business and the owner should be ashamed for having such rude people working there.

Love this place! I brought in several Blazers for last minute alterations and they came out quickly and perfectly. The staff is warm and polite, and they seemed genuinely appreciative of my business. Will definitely return again and again.

Excelent service! I am definitely coming back here, left my jacket for alterations and everything was perfect. everyone was super friendly and helpful.

This place is great! I am a collector of vintage items and it can be difficult to find a place you can trust to clean everything well being that they can be so fragile. This place took great care of my clothes! They also were able to do some alterations, over all they were fast and super friendly. I go here whenever I’m in town.

I was very disappointed in the atmosphere in this place. Being employed in human resources at a hotel, I know very well the importance of good behavior in the workplace. As I was in the cleaners, I asked to use the restroom. As I was walking towards the back where the restroom is located, I saw two employees speaking very rudely to each other (yelling included). This reflects poorly on the establishment because the employees not only display this inappropriate behavior in front of customers, but it also affects their overall performance.
I have been a long time customer to Grove Cleaners and I was very disappointed with the behavior I saw today. Needless to say, I will not be going back because I do not like to see employees behave in such ways in front of their clients.

Worst dry cleaner ever!!!
They could not find my very expensive jacket! First of all, the clothes was given with a terrible odor on it, they shrank one of my silk tops and then they lose my jacket? I called when I realized there was a piece missing and the employee was unaware on how to help me with this matter, After telling me someone would call me shortly, no one called and they avoided my phone call and closed the store. No one should dry clean here your clothes is at risk being left here.

WORST dry cleaner I have ever been to. Don’t even bother to try it.
I took in a dress. When I went to pick it up, they said I had already picked it up (after 25 minutes of trying to find it.) I went home and confirmed that, indeed, I had not picked it up (just as I thought).
Since I needed the dress for the evening, I had to go back immediately before the store closed which necessitated that I cancel my plans. When I got back, they were able to locate the dress after another 15 minutes of searching.
Of course, I was panicked because the dress is very special. It’s handmade, bought in Mexico, and expensive. When they returned the dress to me, it had none of the pleats I had requested they put in the dress — they ignored the original pleats and pressed the dress flat. I was livid. The dress is virtually see-​through without the pleats. When I explained the situation, the pseudo manager looked at me evenly and offered to not charge me for the cleaning.
I agreed that was fair and asked that they add the pleats back after I wore the dress for my engagement that evening. They agreed they would do that.
I brought the dress back, but, when I went to pick it up, they had only added a few tiny pleats to the top — forgetting to press the rest of the dress.
The store employee looked at me with some minor tone of apology and told me that this was what they did — as if she was completely irresponsible for what had happened even though she was the point person for instructing the cleaning staff.
As I felt my blood begin to boil, I took the dress and walked out.
No point in belaboring this misery.

I have NO idea how they are still in business.
Did I mention they are expensive also? Ugh.

They did a good job with my fiancé’s suit. Was ready when they said it was going to be, they charged me the amount that was on the ticket and the lady wasn’t rude or anything. I’ll be coming back.

If I could give half of a star I would. All of the dress shirts were given to me with ring around the collar. They had to before twice! Then the lady gave it to me and I opened the plastic and there was black specs of dirt all over the shirt. When I asked her to re lean them she stated that they were not responsible for that!!! Very rude manager, lies and makes excuses for poor quality service and you get over charged with an attitude.

Extremely disappointing. I went to get some pants hemmed. The seamstress and cashier and I discussed the work to be done and then the easier gave me a pick up slip with the amount owed printed on it: $ 28. When I returned a few days later to pick up the pants, I was charged $ 44. I was told that the price I was given earlier was wrong. I was not informed of this until the work was already done, too late to refuse the service at the higher price. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE. I lost my respect for this company. I wrote them a letter explaining the matter and got no response. They clearly value money over ethics, good business practice, customer satisfaction. If you go, be prepared to be treated poorly.

TERRIBLE!
I took a dress in to remove a stain, and when I picked it up I paid $ 21.03. After I paid I lifted the plastic cover only to see the stains were still there. The lady at the front was very rude when I asked her why I had been charged if they hadn’t removed the stains. She replied «the dress was dry cleaned». Why would I want the dress dry cleaned when it was still stained which was the main reason I took the dress in. I have been a customer of Grove Cleaners for over 15 years but I will never go back again. Very rude, unprofessional, and terrible customer service!

They lost my dress! This place is overpriced and doesn’t even get your clothes lean. They have some little paper they hang in any garment with a stain telling you they couldn’t get the stain out… hmmm…kind of the point in paying $ 10 to get a blazer dry cleaned. Wont be going back here! I spent extra time when dropping off to point out the stains and they still came back the same way they went in…

DON’T RECOMMEND! Worst customer service I have ever experienced, anywhere!!! After waiting for about 5 minutes to pick up my clothes with no one having even greeted me, a woman came out with attitude, didn’t apologize and then when I asked her a question about the total she answered me very rudely. To top it off I need to go back because some clothes was not ready at the time they told me to pick it up. When I told her I would not be going back there again she rolled her eyes and walked to the back without another word. DO NOT GO HERE.

Awesome Cleaners. This cleaner really helped me. I needed to get my pants hemmed and cleaned the same day of a wedding I was going to. I truly thank them. Not to mention the clothes looked great.
