Dr. Martin specializes in ophthalmic and facial cosmetic surgery. At his Coral Gables office he performs a variety of cosmetic surgeries such as blepharoplasty, brow lifts, neck and face lifts, and fat transfers. Many of the eyelid surgeries, such as a lower eyelid fat repositioning, are performed with the CO2 laser which will help to minimize bruising and swelling. He has a full state accredited operating room suite where the procedures can be performed with either local or local sedation anesthesia with an anesthesiologist.

Dr. Martin also has several lasers for facial rejuvenation. These include: fractionated CO2 and erbium, non-​ablative fractionated resurfacing, and full strength CO2,. The lasers are used to remove skin lesions and to smooth out the texture of the skin. He has an intense pulsed light which will remove brown spots and small blood vessels from the face, chest and hands. The IPL is also used for hair removal anywhere on the body. Dr. Martin has an Ulthera machine which uses deep ultrasound waves to tighten up the skin on the neck and face. He also has the newest radiofrequency technology called Infini. This combines microneedling with radiofrequency to stimulate new collagen growth under the skin to firm and tighten the face. Dr. Martin also uses a wide variety of fillers to help add volume to the face and soften lines and wrinkles. He also injects neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport to improve the dynamic wrinkles.

John J. Martin, Jr., MD specializes in eye, facial and neck rejuvenation, as well as laser and other non-​surgical treatment for vascular and pigment problems, and hair removal. He received his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, and is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and of the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons. Dr. Martin is a Board-​Certified Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He is also Board Certified by the Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in Facial Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Martin has received extensive training in the use of surgical lasers, and is recognized internationally for both medical and aesthetic procedures.
