I’ve been coming here for several years. I like Dr Mesa and no one likes mammograms. My first visit was so pleasant, I thought I had found «the place!» Even second mammogram experience was good. Three is not a charm! 6 months ago, receptionist was rude and condescending. Wow, and she is consistent today. Sadly, I think it’s office management. There seems to be a melt down of decorum and follow through. Every patient spoke to was referred by first name from a twenty something year old receptionist. She even condescending to a gentleman inquiring about cost of needle biopsy for his concerned wife. TERRIBLE! I won’t be returning. I will find another place to depend on for my care. Sorry, Dr Mesa.

Two Stars because the scans came out good ! I had initially recommended this place Because the staff was nice and the place was nice.
Then I needed my records sent to my my doctor in 48 hours because I had a doctors apt. and I was sick with anemia because of Fibriods and my doctor needed to see the scan… So I was told that the radiologist was on vacation and they didn’t know when she was coming back. Seems to me that a lot of people have trouble getting their Records. Finally two days later my doctors secretary Got them by calling several times and kissing their B. Miami Breast Institute what is the Problem???

Staff is very pleasant and courteous but this is the only place I am charged for the records. I was told the prescribing Dr could request records for free and then, I had to sign the release at prescribing Dr office. This imaging center could have provided me with the release at the time it advised me Dr could request without charge. Parking in whole foods garage is nice. We think they should not try to push more tests on me prior to the prescribing Dr see results of what he ordered.

Initial good experience and would of recommended, however then I needed my reports and images to give to another doctor and they charged me for my medical records!!! All the other places I have been to before have give in a quick turn for free. To make matters worse, they said it could be of no charge but my surgeon would have to request it and they couldn’t turn it around that fast, however if I paid somehow they could get it to me in my time frame. Who needs a place that nickel and dimes you!!! Especially, when patients have so many other things to worry about!

I had my biopsy done here & annual check-​up. My mother also attends this center for scans, ultrasounds, etc. It’s built nicely, very modern, with lockers & other activity rooms inside, makes you feel like if you’d be at a spa. The doctors are excellent and very sweet. If you don’t have insurance, speak to them, they’ll work out a payment plan. Street and garage parking. Located in the center of Miami right next to Sunset Place. Off US1 & 57th ave (Red Rd).

Scheduling and prep for patients is not what it should be. Wife made appt 6 months in advance and they called the day of the appt to check on blood work. Since she didn’t have blood work set up, they rescheduled. She gets the blood work done, and then they cancel the appt. So now she has to take another day off work. Not happy with the lack of customer focus.
Nice office, parking. Dr was OK, its just the office staff that needs help.

Super clean facility, nice location and free parking. Dr. Carbot, the nurses and the front desk staff are very helpful and professional. On an unrelated note, it’s right next to whole foods! Convenient :)
