Description

Specialties

Achieve your strength, fitness, & flexibility goals through gymnastic strength training, floor-acrobatics, and more!

All classes consist of a warm-up, strength work, and mobility exercises. In addition, expect floor-acrobatics and handbalance. We use a hands-on coaching approach, so expect helpful feedback throughout the class.

Whether it’s your first chin-up, holding a consistent handstand, or building up the strength to do a muscle-up on the gymnastic rings, our proudest moment is when our students say «I didn’t know I could do that.»

Meet the Business Owner

Sean N.

Business Owner

Academic: After passing the qualifying exams for my PhD in Exercise Physiology, I am now working on my dissertation related to movement complexity and neurological /cognitive adaptations. My other current research involves investigating tendon adaptations to various loading patterns, and the role of scapular articulation in learning the chin-up.

Training: Until entering the world of strength and conditioning, I was involved in capoeira, dance, and parkour. When I began learning from Ido Portal, my focus shifted towards handbalance, olympic lifting, and gymnastic strength training.

Passion: I love working with kids. I’ve taught capoeira & breakdancing to kids (along with planetary sciences) at an alternative summer school program for middle-schoolers, interned as a counselor at an elementary school, and worked in a treatment setting (based on physical-play) for kids mainly with ADHD & autism spectrum disorders. What movement did for me, I know it can do for them.
