Specialties
With a man cave feel and in-house smoker that can be smelled from a block away, Swine has received a warm welcome to the Coral Gables neighborhood. Maintaining the same top-notch techniques and standards of hospitality as its sister restaurant, Swine offers a constantly evolving food and beverage menu that work together to create the perfect Southern meal in a down-home, feel good environment. It feels barn-like because it is in fact made from reclaimed wood of an actual barn in South Carolina. Housed inside is the state-of-the-art smoker and wood-fired grills, adding a signature flavor and level of authenticity unique to the restaurant.
History
Established in 2013.
After Yardbird Southern Table & Bar became such a success, the 50 Eggs, Inc. team sought to open a brother restaurant to the South Beach’s Southern Belle. «We developed so many fun ideas during the creative process for Yardbird,» explains John Kunkel, CEO and founder of 50 Eggs. «Whereas Yardbird focuses on poultry, Swine is about great briskets and ribs – and a whole lot of bacon.» There’s a whole other side of Southern fare that’s the focus here, inspired by the mighty hog in all its glory.
