Dr. Joseph Selem is an excellent, precise, and patient doctor. He was kind when i was nervous for a small procedure and allowed my mom to stay with me. He is extremely professional and cares for his patients needs! I would highly recommend him to anyone. My eye healed with perfection! He has great skills to quickly and with great precision handle the delicate eye area. He is extremely knowledgeable!

I had such a great experience with Dr. Selem. He is a great doctor, very nice, and very knowledgeable. The office if very modern and clean and the staff is welcoming and friendly. He’s very caring and professional.

Dr. Selem is a great doctor and his office is very clean and well located. His staff personnel is great, except for the girls working the front desk… but I can’t judge Selem’s professionalism and attention to detail by the moody front counter personnel. You’ve got to take the bad with the good, there isn’t a perfect doctors office here in Miami, so get over it people. Just kill them with kindness.

Prior to having an eyelid lift, I did my homework and decided to have Dr. Selem perform the surgery. From day one, Dr. Selem’s professionalism together with his staff, (from the front desk to the nurses) was impressive. Dr. Selem took his time in explaining each question I had even though I asked the same question a million times. After the surgery, he remained just at professional and patient. For any person considering an eyelid lift, I highly recommend Dr. Selem, hands down!

I visited Dr Selem’s office for a lump I had inside my left lower eyelid. I had previously treated this lump with another doctor who thought it was an allergy reaction and was treating me with eye drops. I was getting nervous because it was not going away. I am glad I received a second opinion with Dr. Selem. After the first consultation he knew I had a kind of lesion and recommend a small procedure to remove it. He explained me the process and answer all the questions I had. I felt very comfortable with him. 2 weeks later I had a small surgery to remove it. I was extremely nervous about this procedure because it was in the interior of my eyelid. When I arrived for surgery he ask me if I wanted some music to relax and it helped a lot. He walked me trough the entire processes while he was doing the procedure and was very gentle. The procedure took 10 min and I was back home in 30 min. He did an excellent job removing it and after a few weeks my eyelid has healed beautifully. It is hard to think there was a lump there before. The tissue was tested and all came back good, thank god! I will be happy to recommend his services to all my friends!

Dr. Selem is a great doctor and very knowledgeable in his field. I always recommend him to friends and family. His staff is always helpful with appointments. The offices are conveniently located and parking is plentiful. The overall experience is the best for any medical office — especially in South Florida.

A friend recommended Dr Selem a few years ago for Botox. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with a needle in my forehead! Take no short cuts with your face! He’s professional, and his staff are wonderful! The office is beautiful and clean.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Selem, his surgical staff and his office staff! They were outstanding in their professionalism and truly cared about me as the patient. The office staff went above and beyond their responsibilities to make sure I had all the necessary paperwork before the surgery. His surgical staff was very gentle and took their time explaining the procedure to me. Dr. Selem took time away from his family to call me on Thanksgiving Day to see how I was feeling!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
I was home from college in North Carolina and I had to get a minor surgery done in my eye. I was worried the time limit would have an affect on whether I could get the procedure done. Most surgeries require booking a long time in advance. However, Dr. Selem accommodated me with pleasure. At first, he was willing to do the procedure on New Year’s Eve, so I could recover in time. That date ended up not working for me, but the fact that he was willing to work that day, says more about his professionalism and passion that anything else. Nevertheless, the procedure day came, and he was very supportive throughout.
I had to visit his office several times before the procedure, and after. The office is gorgeously decorated, with a magnificent view of Ponce De Leon. The furniture is luxurious and the place feels very high-​end. I felt very safe in the office, and instantly knew this place was the real deal. His staff was helpful and very informative. The front desk lady remembered my name each time I walked in the door, and his assistant kept in touch with me several times before the procedure. All incredibly helpful.
As for the surgery, everything turned out flawlessly. In a few hours after the procedure, my eye looked instantly better. I’m so happy I found him.
Overall my experience was great. Dr. Selem was incredibly honest, passionate, and dedicated. I highly recommend his services. He’s truly exceptional.

I recently had eyelid surgery as well as my 80 year old mom and I can say that our experience has been wonderful! Dr. Selem did a great job and we both are please with the outcome. From the moment you enter the office you are greeted by a wonderful staff. And Natalie was just awesome coordinating the procedures. Dr. Selem is truly knowledgeable, caring and very professional and I highly recommend Dr. Selem.

Dr. Selem and his staff are fantastic. After a hospital emergency room trip directed me to see an ophthalmologist immediately, Dr. Selem’s office saw me right away, when all other offices told me it would be days, if not longer, for an appointment.
Not only is the office beautiful, it is always run in a friendly, efficient and clean manner, and most importantly, on time.
Dr. Selem is knowledgeable and takes the time to meet with each patient as well as discuss possible outcomes and remedies without making the patient feel like he is pressed for time to get to the next one. He truly seems to care for each patient and takes the time to be with them and make sure their questions are answered.
The staff are supportive, friendly and patient.
I’ve spent nearly three months at Dr. Selem’s office due to the original eye problem, and they have made the experience extremely positive and enjoyable, despite the situation.
I cannot recommend an office more highly than this one.
