A Move Made Easy, Inc. helps seniors and people with disabilities relocate. We are a licensed, insured and bonded service working with individual homeowners, Realtors, attorneys, care managers, guardians, physicians, independent and assisted living communities and health care facilities throughout Broward, Dade and Palm Beach counties for over thirteen years. A Move Made Easy is there to assist you, whether you’re moving locally or out-​of-​state. We coordinate and implement your move, handling ALL details from Start to Finish. From sort/​downsizing, selling or donating items not being moved, to creating a floor plan, packing, overseeing the mover, placing the furniture, unpacking, organizing the closets to taking away the debris, de-​cluttering, getting your old home ready for sale, or decorating your new home, we do it ALL!

We also handle estate closures and help in the distribution of items to family members.

We are totally dedicated to pleasing our clients and alleviating the stress connected with relocation or estate closure.

History

Established in 2003.

A Move Made Easy, Inc. was started in 2003 by Sharon Cofar because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. She created a Senior Move Management Company whose commitment is to older adults, individuals with disabilities and their families, for whom the emotional stress and physical demands of moving can be especially burdensome.

Our caring staff know that moving is not about boxes; it is about memories, feelings and people. We are NOT movers. We are Senior Move Managers or Relocation Specialists that will treat you like family!

We handle local moves throughout Broward, Dade and Palm Beach counties. Because we have affiliates throughout the United States, we are also able to coordinate long distance moves. In the last year, we have worked with Senior Move Managers in Georgia, California, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Colorado, Texas, Maryland, and Illinois to successfully coordinate client moves and ensure a smooth transition.

Business Owner

Sharon Cofar is a Certified Senior Move Manager (SMM-​C), a Certified Relocation & Transition Specialist (CRTS), a Certified Project Manager (PMP), technology specialist and former elementary school teacher. She grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she volunteered with the elderly since she was 8 years old. She has served on the board of the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) for three years and has also been involved with Elder Services Resource Network since 2003 serving on their board as Vice President and in other official capacities for many years. She has also been involved with the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk Committee and other local charities. She started a Women’s American Ort chapter and became Vice President of Lake County Region in Illinois. She has always been active in the community and committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
