Welcome to the pediatric dental office of Dr. John Bazos. Dr. Bazos, being a board-​certified pediatric dentist, provides specialized dentistry for children and adolescents in a «child-​friendly» environment. As pediatric dentists, we focus on preventive care to help each child a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. We serve infants, children and teens in Coral Springs, FL and Northwest Broward County with a subspecialty in providing comprehensive dental care to children with special needs.

History

Established in 1990.

Dr. Bazos returned to Coral Springs in 1990 to practice pediatric dentistry. He was a member of the first graduating class at Coral Springs High School. His first 11 years was spent practicing for a group and subsequently decided to open his own practice.

Dr. Bazos feels truly blessed to be able to make a difference in the lives of numerous children on a daily basis. He enjoys watching his patients grow up and become successful members of society. Dr. Bazos has had numerous previous patients become colleagues within the dental profession. He enjoys calling Coral Springs his hometown, especially being a graduate of the first class of Coral Springs High School. Dr. Bazos loves all water sports (especially fishing) and football.

Dr. John Bazos has earned the distinction of becoming a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Drawn to the love of treating children, Dr. Bazos completed a two-​year residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children also in Philadelphia. During the hospital residency, he was extensively trained in clinical and emergency treatment of children’s dental needs. This training also included both hospital dentistry and comprehensive sedation techniques.

Dr. Bazos is passionate and active in the specialty of pediatric dentistry. He is a member of the ADA, AAPD, FAPD, as well as the FDA and the BCDA. Dr. Bazos was honored to serve as the President of the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry in 2005 – 2006. He is an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry.
