Michael Brodie Senior Placement

I honestly cannot thank Michael Brodie and Saul Chapnick enough for their help. I had recently and unexpectedly found myself in a caregiver role for my grandmother, and had been panicking as to how I could make sure she’s well taken care of being that I was so far away (I don’t live in the same state). I was also extremely concerned about potentially choosing a place where she may be neglected or worse, even mistreated.
Thank goodness I was referred to them, along with another senior placement service. These are the factors that made me choose them over the other service:
1. They actually LISTENED to me. I was able to explain in detail the situation, her needs and tastes before anyone even went to speak with her. The other service just talked at me, and started calling places even before he knew the full background.
2. They have more than 50 years experience between the two. Both Michael and Saul have been on both sides as administrators at ALS facilities as well as the placement side of things. This made me feel at ease.
3. They compiled a list of places based on what they thought would be a good fit for my grandmother’s background, personality and health needs. THEN Saul ESCORTED me to each facility. The other placement services would’ve just given me a list and had me go on my own. This made a huge difference because as a person new to this, Saul was able to tell me what to look out for, explain why he did certain things and ask questions that I wouldn’t even know to ask.
Not only did my grandmother end up in a wonderful place she can afford, but Saul went out of his way to check in on both my grandmother and myself even after the placement had occurred.
I cannot say enough great things about this service and these two gentlemen as people!
