What scoop shop lacks in curb appeal and obscene amounts of tchotchkes to look at(such as at the nearby Cherry Smash) Scoop Shop makes up for in flavor and value when it comes to its homemade ice cream. It may not get the crowds coming from across the county as a tourist spot but this store does get the love of the locals with its unique home made flavors, made with natural ingredients.

A really nice hole in the wall ice cream parlor with homemade ice cream. My boyfriend and I swung by here while waiting for our pizza next door and we were pleasantly surprised by the cordiality of the owner and the superb quality of the ice cream. We got a double scoop of the rainbow sherbet to share. It was huge but we still wanted more because it was so so good! My boyfriend and I are lactose intolerant so we typically can’t have much ice cream or sherbet even, but we felt great after. The consistency was super smooth, m and it wasn’t too sweet. Absolutely perfect. They take cash only and there is no ATM machine inside. We didn’t know that beforehand unfortunately, but the owner let us leave and trusted us to come back later that night or even the next day to pay for the purchase. We rushed to the gas station to get some cash and came back, but I was surprised with how nice and trusting he was about it. A lot of people would’ve been frustrated or would’ve given an attitude. Not him! Would definitely swing by again for something sweet!

Found this place via Unilocal yesterday and it was everything that everyone else said it would be: delicious ice cream, friendly service, unique flavors, and a great value. It’s not everywhere that you can find this combination all in one place so it’s great when you do. If our travels bring us back through Coral Springs, we’ll definitely be back.

Outstanding ice cream and an outstanding proprietor make this an unknown gem. White Christmas ice cream was truly incredible. My son with nut allergies was incredibly excited to be able to have hard ice cream. Most ice cream shops only have teenagers scooping ice cream that they know nothing about. Here we had help from the man who makes it.

Scott the owner makes all the ice cream in this shop. You WILL taste the difference! my hair salon is in this plaza, so I am under strict orders to get my husband a container of cherry ice cream every time I get my hair done — LOL. It’s an old-school ice cream parlor, so glad to have this gem in my neighborhood. The Italian Ice flavors are also delish! life is too short not to enjoy a sweet treat from The Scoop Shop on a somewhat regular basis.

Ran in after initially passing it by to get Indian food. $ 2 for the most delicious scoop of Cookie Dough ice cream on a cake cone that I have ever tasted. The guy working there(owner) seemed fine enough.

This ice cream shop is located in a run down plaza. But please DON’T let that be the reason for not trying their ice cream. I ordered 1 scoop($ 2) of cookies and cream ice cream. The cookies and cream ice cream was delicious. It’s actually made with REAL Oreo’s unlike other ice cream shops near by. This cookies and cream ice cream maybe one of the best ones I’ve had. My boyfriend sampled the carrot cake ice cream. Which he said, really tasted like carrot cake. But he ended up ordering 1 scoop($ 2) of espresso chip ice cream. Which he thought, was really good. One thing I can’t get over is the price of their ice cream. $ 2 for 1 scoop of ice cream is nothing! Kilwins & Cherry Smash are right down the street — you can’t leave those establishments without spending $ 5 for 1 scoop of ice cream.

I took my son here for his PreK graduation and we loved it. We went back with his little brother and watched Whitney Houston videos while we ate snickers ice cream. The owner is really nice and personable. Just remember, CASHONLY!

Delicious ice cream and excellent service! You can tell that the owner, Scott, is passionate and knowledgeable about the flavors he creates. This ice cream is definitely the«real deal» — meaning, he uses real fruit, chocolate, cream, and other high-quality ingredients. Plus, the price was much lower than we thought, especially considering the rich taste. When we were there, he was out of two flavors, carrot cake and double fudge brownie. We will definitely be back to try those! We had the dulce de leche, rocky road, coconut, and red velvet cake. It was definitely the cherry on top of an already delicious meal at Arun’s Indian Kitchen(.4 mi away).

Delicious ice cream. The cup is only $ 2! Cute little shop with unique ice cream flavors. I had cookie monster. Blue ice cream with Oreo pieces and cookie dough. I haven’t had a blue tougn since I was a kid! They were working on the sign so I thought they were closed but they are not. Yay!

When I entered into this ice cream parlor, I felt like I accidentally stumbled upon Marty McFlies time machine and was warped into 1982. Complete with an old school rabbit ear tv and VHS tape on the wall. Upon arriving, we where warmly greeted by the owner whose ice cream enthusiasm pales only to Willy Wonka and his chocolate affection. As we where deciding on which flavors to go with he proudly went over his favorites and what he added to make them different. Hubby went with a double scoop of the tried and true butter pecan and wasn’t disappointed. I on the other hand love the flavor of the season and went with the pumpkin. It was pleasantly rich and creamy and had me reminiscing of nana’s pumpkin pie. Overall great homemade ice cream with an array of unique flavors to choose from, will be back to try more. We where also pleasantly surprised when it came time to pay as we waited to hear double digits but apparently his prices haven’t changed since 1982 either. Thank you time machine!

BESTSERVICEBESTICECREAM Want to know more read the rest. But trust all I said so far and try it. Well well well, every time I decide to go there, either I left it behind or it’s too late. Saturday night after a long day with the kids looking for Halloween costume I look it up on Unilocal and drove there with the kids. I was really tired and pass it twice. I wished I had read the reviews before in regards to the ice cream cone in the front. Well I found it. Super exited to finally enjoy this five star ice cream. When I get there only one customer. I was a little worried. I Look and check out what they had. The kids got very exited and I start getting them a little size, I also wanted to compare it with some other ice cream from another store and asked him for the rum raisin. Once he got all the ice cream ready I m handing him my debit card and he tells me he only takes cash. OMG!!! I felt so bad since I m one of those that never ever have cash on me. And guess what, he told me: it’s ok, you can take it. I was so surprised that he was ready to give it to me for free. Than I realized it was closed to my job, so I told him that where I work and that he would have his cash today.(Which off course I remember only now). When I finally have the ice cream, I agree with all the reviews. It is the best in town. It is so rich and so yummmy. He does a pretty good job with the ice cream. I loved it and I sure will go back to get some more and off course with cash this time.

I’ve been at the scoop ice cream shop a couple of times already. The owner is super nice and it’s already worth it to come there just for talking to him. Now about the ice cream: so many delicious flavors! And he always adds new flavors too. Now he has pumpkin, peppermint and eggnog. I personally love the coconut custard, carrot cake and Reese’s. It’s always hard to decide though since all the flavors sound good! Definitely worth a visit for some good homemade ice cream!
