i went there yesterday @ 1:30pm to see about rental availability, price structure, amenities, etc. the only young lady at the reception desk’s(stacey) seemed totally overwhelmed. she made no eye or verbal contact. so, i moved closer and i went ahead and greeted her. she responded with: i already have an appt with someone in ten minutes. i asked if i could quickly ask if they had any availabilty and pricing. she jotted down the prices of two units and said she had to go. i asked her if i could return later that day to talk with a representative to obtain more info. she told me to come back at 2:30. so, i went for coffee and when i returned at 2:30 she looked at me and said she was starving and walked away? she walked into another office and through a glass window i could see her speaking with a blond haired older woman whom was seated at a desk. then, the blond older woman then came out and said that she was the mangr. she told me that the info that was given to me by stacey was wrong and that they had no apartments available. that one was rented a few minutes earlier and the other was being repaired. feeling like i had entered the twilighte zone i hastedly removed myself from the property. maybe just my bad luck?

After leaving and having the apartment professionally cleaned and also having been complemented on how amazing the apartment looked by Avalon’s check out staff, I was billed $ 668 for the carpet to be replaced. It was all normal wear and tear. I’d assume when you walk into an apartment with bright beige carpets there is a reason for that.

This review is for Junior who is on the maintenance team here at Charles Pond. I have lived here for 6 years so I have dealt with many different people. Junior is always there to respond to maintenance requests with a smile. He goes above and beyond to help me whenever I have a maintenance issue and never makes me feel like he doesn’t have time to deal with my concerns. He is an asset to this community,

Wish I could give this place less than one star. They are completely unprofessional, overcharge for everything and pound you when you wave with exorbitant and unarguable«fees.» The responses from corporate – especially in theses Unilocal complaints – are trite and insipid. They do not care. Period. Find another place to move. You won’t regret it!

I’ve lived here for over a year. In the beginning everything was amazing. It was nice and we’ll kept but then things began changing and I had a lot of bumps. For one they didn’t notify me when a package of bread came on the mail for me. They were really expensive paleo bread and muffins… and they were ruined. Then one day I left a garbage bag on my front door for 5 minutes when I grabbed my dog really fast. I was charged a fine. The next day all of my neighbors had trash out. They were not fined. Then one day a couple moved in and got a husky. They frequently let him off the leash letting him jump all over people. I called the front office when he jumped on this old lady. They said they were trying to control the the situation but the tenant was«uncooperative». The parking situation is crazy. It’s hard to find a spot. So some people make up a spot. Specifically someone made up a spot on the curb… When entering the complex… and you can’t see around to the other side to see if someone else is coming the opposite way. I almost got in so many accidents. I called the office again. They said there’s nothing they can do. The dumpster was set on fire by some kids. It’s a bad area. And the dumpster breaks frequently. The worst thing was that I own 3 cars which is the max I can have at this place. One of which I don’t drive often but want to keep. One morning she called and asked me to move it out of the guest spot(I haven’t noticed because it was dark when I parked it). I moved it. Then I received another call saying the tire was flat. I filled the tire. I received yet another call saying that she was towing my car by the end of the night. Why? Because I was parked somewhere I shouldnt? Nope. Because someone wanted the spot my car was in. There are no assigned parking spaces here. It’s first come first serve. So basically because someone didn’t want to walk 10 extra feet to another spot she was threatening to tow my car. I told her it was illegal and I’ll see her in court because you can’t bully me out of a spot I PAYFOR. She backpedalled from her bullying argument and said fine. She was going to go inspect my car(to see if there was a way to tow it). She tried to bully me into this thinking I was a dumb little girl but I’m in the military and I know my rights especially with cars since there always seems to be an issue of some sort. I’m really happy my lease is almost up
