Our office has three very knowledgeable optometrists, one ophthalmologist, and 10 friendly staff members dedicated to fulfilling all of your eye care needs. Doctors Eger, Corcoran, and Clark are some of the area’s finest clinicians who apply the most advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment for refractive disorders, including cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. We perform and/or manage the latest methods of refractive surgery, (LASIK, PRK, etc.). Our eye doctors specialize in many areas including specialty contact lenses, eye plastics, low vision, refractive surgery, pediatrics, geriatrics, and primary eye care.

The Eger Eye Group has provided family eye care to greater Pittsburgh. We are a multidisciplinary practice consisting of therapeutic optometrists, a general ophthalmologist, and opticians.
Meet the Business Owner
Mark E.
Business Owner
As a 37-year member of the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Eger has served as a Regional Chair, National Vice-Chair, and National Chair of The Committee on Admittance. In 1998 he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Academy, which is an international optometric organization of more than 5,000 members dedicated to vision research and education. He has served the Academy as its Secretary-Treasurer, President-Elect, and will serve as President of the Academy during the years 2009 and 2010. He has also served as a charter member and chairman for a regional task force involving local optometrists and ophthalmologists studying the impact of managed care in the area. In 1998, Dr. Eger was appointed by the governor of Pennsylvania to serve on the State Board of Optometry, and completed a four-year obligation.
