History

Established in 1995.

Mr. Grau started the firm after completing over 10 years of experience in industry, with his last position as VP Chief Financial Officer of an Engineering and Construction compnay. Before going into industry, Mr. Grau worked for both Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton, international certified public accounting firms. Mr Grau maintains a Certified Public Accountant’s license in PA, MD, and VA. Mr. Grau also maintains a PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) designation from the AICPA.

Business Owner

Mr. Grau, is a certified public accountant, licensed in PA, MD, and VA. He graduated from Indiana University (Northwest) in May 1981. After graduation, he was employed by Ernst & Young in Indianapolis, IN and by Grant Thornton in Baltimore, MD. Subsequently, he was employed in industry, serving in roles from Internal Auditor, Manager of Financial Reporting, Controller and then VP Chief Financial Officer. In 1995, Mr. Grau left industry and established a CPA firm located in York, PA. During 2008, Mr. Grau sold his practice in York, PA and relocated to his home town of Pittsburgh and established a new firm.

Mr. Grau is married with one child, a daughter.
