Description

Specialties

Step back in time to an old fashion diner and experience the «Big Bopper» with a thick milkshake; order from our menu of burgers, sandwiches, breakfast to 3 PM, or ice cream at the soda fountain. Or, step into our separate full liquor bar with big screen TV’s, a beer garden and outdoor golf putting green. The Diner patio area is ‘pet friendly’.

We are located in the «Heart of Arizona» just off I-17 & Hwy 69 (which goes to Prescott, AZ), exit 262 & exit 263, just look past the Shell Truck stop for the big sign that reads: 50s Diner Backseat Bar. Also, note we offer overnight lodging with a motel & RV Park.

History

Established in 1982.

In 2003, the new owners of the property, changed the name to the Cordes Junction Motel & RV Park. The first issue, renovating (and continually updating) the rooms. Today, the rooms offer comfortable beds, to 180 DTV channels. July 2015, the motel installed a full property reverse osmosis water treatment system or better known as ‘rain fresh water’. The 50s Diner Backseat bar receives great reviews plus a great covered outside table seating area with championship horseshoe pits and putting green. The RV Park offers drive-thru sites with modern electric 50 amps power and ro water and sewer. Not to leave out propane fill station to coin operated laundry on site. Stop by and check us out.
