Campbell Car Wash

Drove my 96 Camry in for a wash and it came out with 3 dents in the roof from the dryer’s air blast. Yes, they have a sign saying they’re not liable for damages to cars older than 10 years, but I didn’t pay attention to it. Anyway, I pointed out the dents to the attendant. He gave me contact info for the manager. I left polite phone messages, I left polite notes with the attendant, but I didn’t get any help from the manager for over 6 months. Finally, I had the dents repaired on my own dime. I wrote to the owner, asking for reimbursement. He offered $ 100 when the dent repair cost $ 300. I took them to small claims court and we settled for around $ 200. I told the owner that I was very disappointed in his customer service, but didn’t get any apology from him or the manager. I suggest that you go to a different car wash, especially if your car is a 2006 or older.

I went to get my car washed on April 19 at 7pm, I was pushed through so fasted, that my car didn’t get fully washed clean and on the truck of my car the paint is coming off and My car is 2011, the paint should be coming off. I wouldn’t go here.

A good car wash. Nothing does it as well as soap, rag and a bucket in my own driveway, but this is a good reliable, affordable car wash. Nice staff.
Convenient, fast, and my car looks great. A little grime left where automated brushes just can’t travel so I hit those areas before or after.
I’m happy to have a nice car wash in my community.

So I’ve been going here for about a year or two and recently my rear wiper was torn off by their brushes. The manager wanted to settle it without going through insurance and I agreed. BIG MISTAKE. Without going into all the details this guy jerked me around for 2 weeks. I told him I was having health problems and had multiple issues going on that limited the amount of time I could spend on this yet he had excuse after excuse. He had issues with paying out and paying a reasonable amount based on a quote by someone other than the shop who he has a special contract to do discounted repairs. We made it clear we had been loyal customers and didn’t appreciate the hassle he created for us and expected free car washes in compensation and he gave us only two. The manager told me nothing like this had happened in two years. After looking at Unilocal reviews I see he’s also a liar. Although my car is 8 years old I did note a large sign stating they will not pay for ANY damage, even if caused by their equipment for cars over 10 years old. Moral of the story, don’t go here. If you do and your vehicle is damaged, contact insurance immediately. You will have a much better outcome.

Avoid this place like the plague. My wife and I just bought a new car and took it here to get it washed after our first road trip. The car was in beautiful shape. After coming out of the wash there was a long crack in the windshield. When we brought it to the attention of the manager he denied responsibility. Don’t use these guys. They will damage your car and blame you.

The people were friendly but the car wash left a lot to be desired. I went to remove the tape on the back wiper just to find the hatch still had lots of road grime that I could remove with my finger.
I will not be going back.
