Business was established in 1983 under the name Mc Clenny RHC. This company is now a DBA of Hybrid Heating and Air Conditioning. Hybrid was added for the residential customer base in 2007. Mc Clenny RHC is the commercial division. Owner Kevin has worked in the industry for 23 years and has established a well trained team with a combined industry knowledge of 165 years and growing. Company focus is to provide homeowners, and business owners knowledge of heating and cooling equipment efficiency, tax credits, and incentives. We provide the knowledge so the homeowner can make the right decision for their budget, with honesty and integrety. This is backed up with equipment documentation and certification. Hybrid is Carrier Factory authorized dealers, and three time Carrier Presidential award winners. Only five companies in the Pacific Northwest recieved the award this year, Hybrid is one of those.

Husband and father of two children. Grew up in Rural community in central Washington. Moved to Oregon in 1993. Worked in the heating and air conditioning business for 23 years. Local Rotarian. Supports Habitat for humanity. Involved in coaching kids sports. Supports local schools and fundraising. Strong belief in customer satisfaction and customer refferals. I meet many of my customers/friends for coffee and talk about every day life. I beleive all customers are family and should be treated as such.

Hybrid installed a furnace in my shop, and the work was split into two stages due to ongoing construction. Kevin was very professional in all dealings and when the furnace was installed his crew was top notch. Not just quality of work, but also attitude and the cleanup. I would absolutely recommend them.

I installed a new thermostat and some how I missed wired it. The thermostat worked for a few days than quit so I called Hybrid since that was the company whose info tag was on the furnace. I had recently bought the home from my dad so I figured they will know the furnace since they had serviced it before. They had 2 guys come out to fix it and they told me I wired it wrong and it blew the transformer and that is also fried the blower motor. They said it would probably take a couple of weeks to get the parts since it was a 25 year old furnace and that it would be throwing good money at an old furnace that is not as efficient as the new ones. So I had them have there sales guy come out to give me an estimate but he wasn’t able to get there till the next day. That was OK for my schedule. I ended up calling the company in Hillsboro that did my furnace in my old home and he ran out the next morning to give me a price for a new furnace also. He took a look and said that he could fix it. So I had him go ahead and he found that a new Transformer had been installed and it was wired wrong. He put in a new transformer that was in his truck and said the blower was fine. He installed a new thermostat and a hour and a half later and only $ 375 later it was running great. Really disappointed that Hybrid would do those things in a senior manufactured home park. I’m sure it wasn’t the owners intention but more likely the unqualified repair person. I paid there invoice of $ 97 cause they discovered the problem of the mis wired thermostat.

I’m extremely impressed with this company. Our furnace stopped working and I called this company, with no previous experience, at 7:00 am. They quickly returned my call and rerouted the hvac person to our home, arriving before 9:00. His knowledge enabled him to determine what was wrong, and what likely caused our blower motor to fail. The next afternoon he returned with new parts and fully repaired our unit. The cost was minimal/more than fair. We truly appreciate all of this company’s efforts. Dealing with 3 people, two phone calls and the technician who did the repair, each person provided the epitome of customer service.

Kevin and his crew have been fabulous over the years. It’s the extra step that separates a good contractor from a great contractor. They are always willing to answer questions and only recommend work that needs to be done. They have helped me with a noisy intake fan, furnace repair and service, and AC leak. They have helped me nurse my furnace along until I can afford a new one. At which time I’ll be calling Hybrid for the job!
