Jason Morton was born and raised in the military town of Jacksonville, North Carolina, where his family has lived since his grandfather was stationed at Camp Lejeune in 1965. In May 2010, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with University Honors from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Upon graduation, he decided to return home, where he began his teaching career as the Assistant Director of Bands at White Oak High School. For 4 years, he helped to organize, transform, and improve the White Oak Band program in many ways to make it even more successful. In the summer of 2014, he moved to Mooresville, North Carolina, where he joined the faculty at Brawley Middle School. During the summer of 2015, Jason decided to transition out of public education to pursue a career in real estate. Jason has had various experiences with real estate throughout his lifetime, including renting and remodeling of homes.
