Our Towns Habitat ReStores are open to the public and specialize in helping others. We accept new and gently used donations including:

— furniture

— building materials, linens

— home décor items

— housewares

— lighting

— patio furniture

— electronics

— appliances

— kitchen cabinets and more!

FREE donation pick ups in Mooresville, Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville are available for large items.

ReStores sell all donations at a fraction of their value, providing excellent savings to the community, while also helping to keep reusable materials from entering our landfills.

The sale of these items goes directly toward the mission of Habitat for Humanity: to help end substandard housing by providing safe, affordable, and decent housing solutions to partnering families.

Each donation and sale of items to a Habitat ReStore makes a difference in the lives of community member.

History

Established in 1993.

Our Towns Habitat opened it’s first ReStore in downtown Davidson in 1993. What started as a very small thrift shop that specialized in knick-​knacks soon grew to incorporate furniture as well. As business and donations picked up, Our Towns Habitat moved it’s ReStore down the street to Cornelius, and eventually occupied the building in which it is currently located.

Today, Our Towns Habitat ReStore in Cornelius is one of more than 1500 ReStores in the world.
