As the leader in Educational Child Care, we partner with parents to help children build the right foundation for future learning and life. Fred and Cheryl J.

Business Owner

Fred and Cheryl Jenkins are the owners and operators of Primrose School of Cornelius. The Jenkins relocated from Southern California in 2004 to Charlotte with their two golden retrievers. Fred is an executive with a financial firm and Cheryl has been an elementary school teacher for the past seventeen years, with thirteen of those years in a kindergarten classroom. The Jenkins have four grown children — three sons and a daughter — and nine grand children! The Jenkins understand the importance and need of quality child care. As their own children struggled with finding an appropriate place for their grandchildren to attend, they decided that a quality child care/​preschool was something that they could not only provide for their own children but for other parents as well. Primrose offered the chance for them to fulfill that dream.
