History

Established in 1974.

The business started in Boston under the name GM Security Services, Inc. It catered to insurance companies, third party administrators and related defense firms. It also conducted extensive background investigations for cities and towns in MA. In 2010, Northeast Security Service, Inc., was formed. Both entities were founded and managed by George McMahon, a former Counterintelligence Agent with the US Army Intelligence Command.

Business Owner

George McMahon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston State College and a Diploma from the US Army Intelligence School, Fort Holabird MD. He worked as a Special Agent in the Camden (NJ) Field Office, Region II, 108^th MI Group. In that capacity he conducted hundreds of background investigations on individuals seeking security clearances. He also planned and executed a variety of special operations that are not for public dissemination.
