Anthony’s Leatherworks

I did a pretty good job of trashing my Dainese motorcycle leathers and Anthony’s did a great job of repairing them. When I sent them in all I was really expecting was an improvement, one shoulder and one butt cheek were destroyed, what I got was a miracle. They look like new. I think you could have knocked me over with a feather when I got them back. Highly recommended!

Very easy process. I dropped by on a Monday and it was a quick in and out. The zipper on my leather motorcycle jacket had stopped zipping up and the lady at the front was able to tell me exactly what needed to be replaced. She quoted me $ 30 and 1 week to change out the zipper slider. Kind of expensive for such a small piece, and I’m sure I would’ve been able to get it done much cheaper somewhere else, but I was already there and I didn’t know beforehand what needed to be done.
Went back exactly a week later. I’d forgotten the tag but no biggie, they were able to pull up my record, find my jacket and I was on my way. They’ll give you 10% off if you tell them CycleGear sent you!
The shop is located on the corner of PCH and Marigold Ave, on the southbound side of PCH. There’s street parking out front, but I didn’t see any lot parking.

The main zipper on my Dainese jacket had broken. I was not comfortable with the local leather repairs ability to replace it nicely so I reached out to the Dainese store but learned that Dainese does not do repairs but had referred me to Anthony’s Leatherworks. I promptly contacted them to arrange a repair. They were very nice and returned my calls and emails so communications was great. I received my jacket back in the expected time frame and was really happy to see that the jacket was just as I sent it but with a working zipper. It was exactly like it was from the factory. I would definitely contact them first for any future repairs. Price was also reasonable. Thanks guys!

Bought a new jacket and the sleeves were too long, looked locally for alterations and found no one that had the correct experience for motorcycle jackets alterations. Found Anthony’s Leatherworks on line, I had reservations having alterations done from a non local shop but the team at Anthony’s removed all doubt and provided specific guidance for measurements to get it just right. Want to give a big thank you to John for the excellent job shortening the sleeves and moving the armor pocket, first class work.

I had some work done on a Vanson jacket. I needed my main zipper replaced. I’m a daily rider so I don’t like giving up my jacket, but I timed it with some work travel. I shipped the jacket there and they shipped it back when they were done.
I called them on the phone because I forgot to mention that the wrist zipper was also broken and would they please fix that as well.
The good:
They did an excellent job on replacing the zipper and coordinating timely shipping.
The bad:
–They replaced my black zipper on my black jacket with a big olé shiny gold one.
–They told me they tested the wrist zipper and it was fine, but when I got it back it was clearly still split in the middle of the zipper, just like I sent it. I guess I’m happy they did not replace that with a gold colored zipper…
I was not happy about the mismatch zipper color and missed wrist zipper. If I did not have to use my jacket daily I would have considered sending it back. Big picture, I would use them again because the quality of installation was very well done.

They patched an ACT glove for me. The thumb was worn into a hole. I wished I had known about this place before I threw out my old alpine star glove that had the same problem. :/​Oh well now I know. Cost me $ 35 and some change with 10% off.

Holy crap, I’m still blown away. They promised they could fix my motorcycle leather one piece suit from the crash damage it had, and dye the leather for me and it would look good, but they were wrong… It looks FANTASTIC. I still can’t believe this was the same suit I gave them two weeks ago. Just blown away. I came to pick it up in my car, tried it on, and now I’m sitting in my office on the computer wearing my full motorcycle leather gear because I can’t take it off from all the love. Can’t imagine why the hell you would go anywhere else… Can’t thank you guys enough for the hard work.

Bought my Alpinestar track pants… and let us just say that their sizing chart isn’t quite true to size… so I had to go 3 sizes up from what my actual size is making the pants extremely large in the waist. Asked around to find a place to have it adjusted and everyone said to check out Anthony’s Leatherworks. I finally had time to stop by, and the guy who does the work had me wear the pants so he can see what needs to be done, and ended up suggesting taking 4″ off the waist. Asked if there was a rush on the job, told him no… he then said to give him 2 weeks and the quote was $ 100 — $ 120. Not even 2 weeks passed I get a call from them letting me know my pants were done. Went over the next day to pick it up, and tried it on and I must say its fits a whole hell of a lot better and you couldn’t even tell it was altered. No previous stitch marks/​holes were visible, everything looks as though I just bought the pants straight from the store like that. And when it was time to pay, I expected to pay the higher price from the quote, which wasn’t the case, I actually paid the lower end of the quote… which made my wallet feel happy… lol…I would definitely come back here for future work that needs to be done for my motorcycle gear and definitely recommend coming here… may be pricey but you get AWESOME QUALITY WORK!

Amazing craftsmanship. Courteous, helpful and friendly customer service. I brought in my friends leather motorcycle jacket which needed replacing a panel. We weren’t sure it was repairable. When I went to pick the jacket up, I was surprised and amazed at the work that was done. It looked like a new jacket. Thank you Anthony’s Leatherwork for your awesome job. We will be back.
