I don’t normally do these kinds of things but I had an upcoming trip to Cabo and my girlfriend kept insisting I get my chest hair waxed. But I’m so happy I found Sharon because sugaring was so much less painful than wax and it was quick! She was also nice enough to take care of the hair on my feet as well. If I ever need to get any hair removed, I will definitely be coming back to her!

Iv always done your standard waxing, but it always left some stubble after, Sharon educated me on sugaring and explained why I always had stubble and pain after, which was totally helpful and she even suggested some post waxing and hydrating pointers

My review is long over due! I had a 3 week vacation from Oct. 3^rd to the 21^st and I wanted to pamper myself with sugaring! My first time EVER of sugaring or waxing. I’ve done my research and sugaring is definitely the most best, healthiest, and organic way to go if you care about your skin. Sharon is a great sugarist! She knows her stuff and throughout the session, we haven’t stopped talking! She makes you feel comfortable and I thought the process will hurt because I’ve been letting my leg and underarm hair for a VERY LONG TIME. Fortunately not that much! Of course there will be a slight discomfort, but it will soothe down by the time the session is over. She is very swift and skilled at what she does and I am glad I went here. I came out with baby soft legs and underarms. It wasn’t until the last couple of days of my vacation hair started to grow out. That doesn’t matter because my hair grows out quickly days after I shave and I didn’t need my razor on my vacation! Can you say BLISS?! I will definitely go with Sharon again and told my best friend about her so we are thinking about getting Brazilians for our first time, because that’s just what best friends do haha

Sharon is the best! The first time I was sugared (not with Sharon) I felt really uncomfortable and was hesitant to go back. I did and made my appointment with Sharon since the day and time fit my schedule. Instantly she made me feel comfortable, she explained what she was doing and explained what was the difference between wax and sugar. She really knows her stuff!
I have been going to her since she was at Downtown Sugar in Santa Ana and have followed her to Azucar in Corona. I live in Anaheim so it is a little far but it is definitely worth the drive. I can’t see myself going to anyone else!

Being new to sugaring I was a bit uneasy towards it. I came across Sharon on Unilocal and I am so happy I did! I am a Orange County native and make the drive to Corona to see Sharon. Once you sugar wax, all other waxing methods will be never be the same. Yes, it still hurts but not as much. And regrowth is finer and slower. And there isn’t the raw pain afterwards with strip wax. Sharon talks to you the whole time so you’re distracted. She’s a great conversationalist, and very knowledgable about hair growth cycle.

Let me start by saying that Brazilian waxing has been a regular part of my routine for some time now. I went to a very well know «kitty» to get it done. They are quick, affordable and professional. That being said…
Azúcar has changed the way I view my «grooming.» Sharon welcomed me with a genuine smile and sense of compassion. She explained to me the difference between waxing and sugaring, and gave me realistic expectations.
So everyone’s first question is always, «does it hurt?» No, not at all! (Said completely sarcastically) It’s not painful, but for a moment there’s a slight discomfort. Unlike waxing, however, there’s no after burn and there’s no discomfort following the procedure. The whole thing (which if I thought the «kitty» was thorough, pfft!) took about 30 mins including dressing and undressing.
The biggest difference I’ve seen between traditional waxing and the sugaring is the amount of time before regrowth, and the amount of regrowth. With waxing, I could expect to see a few hairs make their debut just several days after waxing. (Big bummer!) But with sugaring, I went a full 2 weeks before seeing any regrowth, and at almost 4 weeks I’m convinced this is the only procedure I’ll ever subject my body to again.
Trust me when I say Sharon at Azúcar is simply the very best. She took the time to invest in her craft and learn the proper way to perform it.
And when she’s 70 years old, I’ll still be knocking on her door for my monthly tune up!

I had heard from a friend about sugaring. I have never waxed and was a little nervous trying something new. I searched via Unilocal for someone that did this in my area and came across Sharon. She is the only person in inland empire I found that specialized in this. I made an appointment and told her it was my first time and she took time to explain over the phone the entire procedure. Very professional to me. When I arrived at my appointment she made me feel super comfy and explained everything as she was going along. I must say she is good. I’ve never had this procedure done so I can’t compare to others but I have no complaints about Sharon definitely recommend her her to anyone looking to have this done! Thanks Sharon!

Sharon the owner of Azucar is the best esthetician and sugaring specialist! She’s such an expert and really knows how to make you feel comfortable. She’s quick and does an amazing job! I’ve been going to Sharon for 1.5 years now and I’ve followed her this whole time because she’s the best and I won’t go to anyone else. Once you try sugaring, you’ll never get waxed again. Wow. I wish I could give her a thousand stars. What a fantastic aesthetician. She is a professional girl. I’ve been sugared for 10 years in so many different places. But this girl is the best of them all. Fast clean and cute. She also uses many types of sugar depends on the area. this technique won’t cause pain at all. She knows how to handle it. I just had my second sugaring treatment ever from Sharon, and I am just so pleased with it. Sugaring is leagues above waxing (painful) and shaving (inconvenient). I can’t believe I haven’t review the new location yet. Sharon has been the only person to ever perform sugaring on my delicate area. I’m actually a full body wax specialist that uses hard & soft wax. She introduced me to sugaring two years ago. This technique is the best way for anyone that has stubborn hair, sensitive skin, or has ingrown issues. You need someone well trained like Sharon to walk you through this process. My hair grew back slower & thinner than any other process that I have tried. The best part was my skin did not get irritated or red that I usually get from waxing because there’s no heat to sugaring. You’ll never get burn. Trust me, you’ll thank me later.
