I can see how everyone rushes to give this guy 5 stars. But don’t be fooled! This guy may issue a fix right away but problems arise after the fact.
I had an issue with low air flow into the master bedroom. He offered a fix for a reasonable price (definitely not the cheapest) and voila, we had good airflow with no issues… Until the summer hit!!!
When we actually run the AC for at least 2 hours in the heat of summer, a loud obnoxious whistle is coming out of my 2 MONTH OLD sons room which can be easily heard throughout the house as well.
I called Greg to tell him that the change in the duct work is now causing a whistle throughout the house and especially in our brand new Baby’s room. He actually got rude on the phone and said i didn’t know what i was talking about. He didn’t even offer to charge another fee to come out. He then Said he had another phone call and had to go and would call me back… and guess what… never heard from him again. He also mentioned that if its more than 90 degree in the attic he could not go in there. What??? It’s like a plumber saying he can’t do the work because the conditions are too wet.
As another review mentioned, this guy is a joke if you’re looking for a reliable HVAC guy. He does half ass work, and by the time you call him to come back out, he becomes rude and unfriendly.

My AC unit burned out around 10 pm, so we endured a hot an uncomfortable night. I called B&K at 8 am the next morning and Greg came out the same day, assessed the situation, explained in detail what the problem was, gave me my options and took care of the problem. Within 1 hour, the repairs were made and I was back to a cool house. Greg was honest and very fair on the price. Greg also took the time to look at my air filter and give me great advice on how often to change it. I am very happy with the B&K service and will recommend B&K to all my friends.

Every once in a while I come a cross a honest business that reminds me how things should always be. However, as you know this is a wishful thinking. B&K is one of those companies that I am glad I found.
Owner Greg came within an hour, diagnosed my problem (both of our heating units had stopped working), explained to me his analysis and charged me a reasonable price for his service. This man is someone you can trust and be assured that you won’t get ripped off. I highly recommend this business.

One of my AC units was not cooling. I went to the source & used Unilocal and found B & K. Greg answered & was able to service the AC the same day. As a matter of fact, within 1 hour & 15 mins after I called him! Wow! I really thought being a Friday afternoon that I would have to hold off till next week. Greg was friendly, knowledgeable & got the job done quickly. Ends up that I needed a capacitor :(The price was fair & he had the part on his truck. None of this business about having to special order & come back stuff. Greg let us watch what he was doing & even gave us a little tutorial on our AC unit. His work is also warrantied… labor & materials. Can’t ask for anything more. AC not working? Give Greg @ B&K a call.

My AC unit went down and Greg was able to come down the same day I called. He’s friendly, knowledgeable and got the repair done quickly. All I needed was a new capacitor which cost $ 275. He let me watch him do the repair and once he swapped the capacitor out, nice cold AC again, just in time for the 100 degree weather. Honesty, timeliness, integrity and a fair price, what more can you ask for?

So last summer I purchased my first house (Yay me!). Within a month, the AC went out (bummer!) but I had a home warranty (yay!) The lame home warranty company (Old Republic sucks!) sent out their criminal repair service (Lee’s Heating & Air) and their guy proceeded to take something out of my AC unit and then tell me it wasn’t there (the capacitor). Old Republic wouldn’t cover anything unless I has a complete system (I did before their jackass helped them void my home warranty). So I call the big boys, ARS, expecting less of a ripoff from a big corporation that might actually have some lawyers (scum) working for them. The guy they sent out replaced the capacitor ($ 120) then proceeded to tell me I had to replace the entire unit because the fan was also gone. Mine was too old, unrepairable, and basically not worth salvaging (I am broke remember… first house and all). I ask him how much and he says «About as much as a small sedan». I shit you not .
I thank him and call a local repair company (our heroes B&K). He comes out right away. He is honest with me and straight forward. Bad fan, flat rate 425 parts and labor. The unit is salvageable for a few years with some service. he fixes it the same day. For the sake of discussion I ask «So realistically, what is it going to cost me to replace my unit?» He gives me a very fair price and says whenever I am ready he’ll do it. No pressure, no hassle, no bullshit.
I can not recommend this company enough. Please support them!

I am lowering my review to a 4 after my last two conversations with Greg. I want to give him money. I want to have him come out and install a new unit. He has been pretty gruff and rude on the phone and tells me he doesn’t want to go on a hot roof with a steep pitch like mine in the heat to replace my unit.
I don’t get it. I have had other companies come out and give me estimates. He would easily make a lot of money, and obviously everyone else is willing to come out and do the work. Ultimately I will have to go with someone else, but i am very disappointed he refused to even come out and give me an estimate. I gave him first shot and wanted to reward him after his previous excellent work. I don’t understand why he was a jerk on the phone. He deserves the 4 stars for the previous work, but he loses a star for blowing me off on the phone so rudely.
I guess you have to catch him on the right day.
