On my close to 10 years of using Unilocal I’ve never felt this compelled to leave a negative review so soon after the bad experience. I am sure most of their staff is friendly and nice, but this particular guy was. I’m not gonna give a description. I grabbed a plate, a tong, two pieces of the bread I always get, approach the counter. The guy behind the cashier goes«miss, please use a sheet for your plate». Ok I go back to where I grabbed the plate, noticed there was a sign that says something along the lines of «for cleanliness please place this paper sheet over your plate before putting bread on» so here I’m thinking. How about you just wash your plates, so they are clean to begin with? I put the sheet on a new plate, transfer the two breads over, and brought both plates back to the cashier thinking this way at least he could clean both plates now. And the guy snaps again, «you didn’t have to grab a new plate!» …seriously? So you want me to have put the two breads back where I took them, put the sheet on the plate and then grab the breads again? That makes absolutely no sense. And how about you placing those stupid sheets on the plates yourself, EMPLOYEE of the bakery? I didn’t realize as a customer there it was my job to go out of my way to keep the plates clean when I just wanted $ 3 worth of bread.

This is a very small bakery inside of 99 Ranch Market! The bakery is very good when you don’t want to travel to westminster. I’m happy they provide the type of asian pastries in corona. I had a taro pastry which was very tasty! It wasn’t too strong(although i wish it was a bit stronger). They also have different type of breads. I wish I was able to try everything! One of my favorites was the jalepeno bacon cheese bread. omg yum!

Great find! We have been looking for something different and fresh! We found it in this place. The prices are amazing. The breads are fresh and they have a great selection. The pastries are beautiful, they have a great selection and the taste! Outstanding! We were offered samples and they were whole slices of cake! This place is really a great bakery. The employees are very nice and helpful. They are knowledgeable and kind. We will be back, and will be having them cater our Christmas desert table.

I have to be honest when I say that for a short period of last year, I sent my hubby here practically everyday to bring home a mexican blueberry bun for me & me alone. This bakery is located in the 99 Ranch Market off of McKinley St. They have a huge selection of asian pastries. Me being Korean, i’ve had my share of pastries from every asian country you can imagine. But last year I was introduced to a Mexican blueberry bun… it was love at first bite. I questioned the girl that continuously brought out fresh pastries, why they named it Mexican bun?.. her answer was because it looked like the one’s they make… hum? Ok? I’m married to a Mexican. She probably had no clue… so I didn’t get crazy as us asian can get. I figured that’s what she was told so oh well, I’ll except her answer and continue buying out their entire inventory. I didn’t care who/what/where it was created. … I just knew it had me at hello. It’s in a large puffy /Simi sweet/toasted bun stuffed with blueberry purée /cream. When I tear into mine, it looks as though I’ve performed a operation on it, because I have to have a portion of the cream on every bite of the bun… loved it! This year is a whole new story. Because of a couple issue’s, I no longer eat them… :(until this day. I don’t know if it was time or my taste bud’s, but something was definitely different. The filling was not a tasty as i recall. Maybe it’s my imagination but it’s not a item i must have everyday anymore. I still recommend you coming in trying something because they really do have fresh baked pastries all throughout the day.

Tried a few different baked items and they taste really good. No preserves are used so they have a shorter shelf life. If you’re ever near a 99 Ranch Market go in and try them out.

I was excited to find an Asian bakery in the IE. It’s located inside the Ranch 99 store. This bakery resembled 85 degrees in many ways, including the pastries and cakes. I ended up getting their version of my favorite Berrytale, called Mexican blueberry pastry and their hot dog with green onions pastry. I wasn’t impressed with their Mexican blueberry pastry. Didn’t like the blueberry filling at all. It was weird and artificial tasting. The texture of the pastry was pretty dry as well. However, I did enjoy their hot dog pastry. It was a slightly greasy but had good texture and flavor. Overall, I would come back to try their other pastry or cake choices. The prices are also pretty cheap which is always a plus.

Get pastry there, and get coffee at Starbucks across the parking lot to relax. Best of both.

First time here. Thank u Unilocal.Interesting set up/location/operation. Bread is really good. Lot’s to chose from. I feel like I need to come visit again to try everything I haven’t tried yet. Beware prices can add up. Reminds me of a donut shop but instead of donuts we’re dealing with little mini loafs of delightful breads. Some of them all have the same taste some will just knock you off your feet!!!

I’m a total fan, found this place passing through Corona. Stopped in took a look around lots of amazing products to choose from. Tried the banana nut bread Whoa sooooo good! I even brought another slice. Heck there only a $ 1.25. Why not. The full loaf is $ 3.99 which I will be buying one day in the future. Then I asked about the butter cream bread and the young lady behind the counter was so happy to let me try a piece. My mouth was in love. The bread was super soft, probably the softest bread I’ve ever had. The cream was super soft and creamy and it had just the right amount of sweetness PERFECT! Not to get off topic, but I actually met a beautiful woman standing in line. She was amazing. To think I almost drove away without stopping.

Breads ok… Just ok… Nothing special. I love red bean breads!!! This place barely fills there red bean buns with red bean… Dissatisfied i ask them to exchange my item… They were hesitant and I was unhappy still with the replacement. I don’t plan on shopping here for breads again… Disappointed in this location ability to make good breads with red bean… Service was bad too the guy helping us didn’t know what he was selling… Im guessing he was new and untrained…

This is inside the Ranch 99 Market. I was expecting fresh bread but I was shopping around 630pm and most of the breads looked fairly dry to me. I did managed to pick a few, since I was shopping for groceries. The guy at the counter said the blueberry cheese bread is really good, so i picked a couple. I don’t like savory breads, so I stayed away from those options. I got about 4 – 5 pastries and it cost about $ 5-$ 6 which is a great deal. However, I ate my bread the next day and it was as expected fairly dry. Price wise, the breads are good. But I think since i’ve been to places like Paris Baguette or 85 °C, I know bread should taste better and be fresher.

On my way to Home Depot I saw the Bread Farm sign at the 99 Ranch Market and had to stop in. Great location right next to Costco, plenty of parking. Everything is set up beautifully, I wanted one of each and everything. From savory to sweet, whole cakes to slices, everything looked so tasty and the prices are excellent, ranging from just under $ 2 for the single pastries to about $ 8 for a small cake. Perfect for a party, showstopping cakes, especially the ones with fruit. It is self serve, fill up a tray and they box it up for you with a smile, great service here. I had the lemon cupcake, it was my favorite of the bunch, so light and fluffy, the lemon added the perfect refreshing tartness, light and spongy, I could eat a dozen. I also had a blueberry pastry, loved it but a bit plain for my taste, perfect with coffee, milk or hot chocolate though. My husband had a garlic as well as a ham and cheese pastry, both also very good. Everything was super fresh, they were constantly bringing out new trays of items, I can’t wait to come back and try more of their goods! So glad to have an Asian style bakery like this in Corona, it reminds be of 85C or Paris Baguette.

I have visited Bread Farm several time and I can finally write a review without prejudice. Here are the Good: I like the bread here. You get more for your money. Unlike 85C, which have smaller and pricier bread, Bread Farm are much larger and have competitive prices. I like the layout of the store and ppl that work there seems nice. Here are the Bad: Ordering coffee here is like a mirage at a desert, you can see that they sell them and offer coffee but every time I want to order it, you cant! Why you said? Cuz, they only like train one person to make coffee for the entire store, and if the individual cal in sick, on break, or whatever… no one can make coffee! Its simply ridiculous! Can they train more ppl to make coffee… they have like a thousand ppl working in there. and only one person can make coffee!!! Ok, I will stop my ranting. I love my coffee ok?! I don’t understand it from business point of view, they rather only make $ 2.00 or less from me(yes, I don’t buy a load of fresh bread, they are only good on the same day and often stale the next day) and not another $ 3 — $ 4 dollar from coffee addict like me? The employees should b up-selling me every time I buy bread«would you like a coffee with that?» Hey, it never hurt to ask. The Final review: I would go back and the bread is fresh and delicious… I only wish they change up on the variety and please train more then one person to make coffee. Make one of the employees that scream«Fresh Bread» to learn to make coffee ok?

I love their bread and pastries here much better than 85C(which I used to love). Also the cake is more to my taste because is not as sweet as other Asian bakery that I know of. Service is excellent, I have no problem every time I come and I always ask for box or to put the bread/pastries in the box instead of just cram them in a plastic bag. Price is average compare to other asian bakery in IE. I also like the crimson tea? if I am not mistaken. Tip: If you want to choose from a lot more variety don’t come 1 hour before they close. Their bread is soft, warm and fresh — IMO

I declare, I have been behind the times. At least as far as Chinese bakeries are concerned. One day Mr. B and I tried a few in the predominately Asian community in the San Gabriel area, close to Los Angeles. But once hardly counts, and they are so far away. We haven’t even been to the well-known 85 °C Bakery Café yet. I know. «Shocking!» So when we discovered this small bakery inside our new 99 Ranch Market with their serve yourself bins filled with a fascinating array of uncommon breads, it was a way to make all things right again. And besides, there were only little lines, not long ones, and way too tempting to pass by anyway. Unfortunately, it was the end of the day, so pickin’s weren’t so great, but I was particularly impressed with the one that resembled a croissant pastry with a cream cheese filling, topped with a fresh, sweet strawberry. Yummmmeee. The bakery employee suggested we also try a large, slightly sweet white bun with pistachios dotted over the top. A nice choice, it was tasty when re-warmed. Neither tasted too sweet… just right. I admire that in a pastry. And I can’t complain about their freshness. I also got two savory buns, not quite as thrilling. Most of the selections were just way too much white bread for this person who was raised on nuts and whole grains. So not being an authority, I may have to eat my words. But I will return. And maybe someday I will indulge in their big competitor’s products too, to do a taste comparison. Hey, at least not-so-little Corona is becoming more international now.

Love how fresh trays of pastries come out every 5 – 10 minutes! My favorite is the chocolate flower pastry but I never see it in the trays. Please make these more often and frequently!
