I’ve ordered about 6 – 8 cakes (I lost count :-))from them in less than a year including my wedding cake and they were the best! I have friends order from there now. I tried so many DR bakeries even went uptown and no comparison to Cake Mio. Keep up the good work!

I ordered a tres leche cake and what i got was a cake with a little bit of tres leche in the center alone… WTH is that all about. From the reviews I read this place is a hit or miss… not reliable.

I’ve ordered Dominican cakes from other bakeries in Queens and none compare to the cakes of Cake Mio! They are reasonably priced, beautiful, delicious cakes! They are also good with last minute orders.

I would NEVER EVER go back there again!
I placed an order over the phone (maybe that was my mistake) I ordered a 3 Leches Cake and paid for it in advance! What I got was a regular cake with Dulce de Leche in the middle oh and a plastic straw was shoved in there as well!

I’ve been getting cakes at this bakery for many years now for all my family birthdays and occasions. Their specialty is Dominican cakes and they are great at it. The cakes are nice and moist and their meringue frosting is the best. I’ve never had any complaints about any of the many cakes I’ve purchased here. The designs are also very beautiful.

The best Dominican cake in town. Perfect Dominican frosting and cake at reasonable prices. They have also upgraded their styling and design. Bring them a pic of whatever theme or idea and they can probably make it work — traditional or non-​traditional. The owner and her family are also wonderful people. Not a complaint in the 10+ years my family and I have been ordering from them.

They only do 1 type of cake. DOMINICAN CAKE! And crapola they do it very well!
Anyone who answers the phone knows exactly what size of a cake you need by the number of people for your party, ½#, ¾# a #…this is how the cake is ordered. Not by slices.
The price for a whole cake is stupid reasonable and they will decorate it however you like! Cash and card both accepted as well :)
