I LOVE Jen ! She did such an amazing job dying my hair back to black ! The color is perfect! Jet black just how I like it! She did a fantastic job and I couldn’t be any happier ! Thanks Jen

I’ve been going to Ashlee for years now, and she seriously does some amazing work!!! I was so impressed with my hair. I love that she takes her time and the final product is always exactly what I wanted. Pricing is realistic and you can tell she really loves what she does. I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Ashlee now for about a year and I’ll tell you she is amazing!!! This is a hairdresser who knows her stuff, in both cuts and colors! In my life I can honestly tell you that I have never gotten this many compliments on my hair and this is all because of Ashlee. She does work by appointment only so call her at 951−642−7095

My hair cut was SO uneven and also she cut off way more than two inches! I am never one to write bad reviews but this was just horrible. I went with tenna and at first she seemed understanding… Then messed it all up. The other hair stylists kept talking about in appropriate things (it’s a workplace) which made the salon seem so tacky. I will never come here again. Luckily the manager fixed but that just made it even shorter… When I went to get it fixed she didn’t even have the guts to apologize. I don’t get my refund and I did get a horrible hair cut which she cut more than five inches off when I asked for 2.

Hey guys, I have been going to Tim for 8 years. I moved 7 years ago and travel 2 – 5 hours depending on traffic and love it. I have tried every hair stylist and they are amazing. They are great colorists, extensions artists and also amazing at cutting hair. Their spa side is so great that their esthetician will not take highly expensive jobs with people who are diabetic or have skin lesion which meanss that they will definitely be honorable. My sisters has traveled from Las Vegas and even from San Francisco to get their hair styled so this tells it all. I purchased a blow dryer 7 years ago and it still works amazingly. I extremely dislike when people complain since they are the scammers and have gone once of so. I am not affiliated any way whatsoever nor am I even in the industry, I am a nurse. They are so sweet that when my daughter passed away at 12 days they even felt the pain and really took care of me. No other salon will do this. I have jumped to several salons since the distance is there but no one measures up, and their haircuts look amazing at every step of the way, from the first cut up to a year later since they use the right products and really care for the clients beauty. I have nothing better to say and I am so extremely happy with the service. Do not listen to scammers, true 5 star hair stylist do not trash or bad mouth others, they edify each other and that is the sign of an amateur.

Horrible service. Waited 20 minutes before someone even came over to tell me that they were too busy to cut my daughters hair. All the while, this one stylist sat in her chair and played on her phone.

1^st Mistake was going to «1^st Impressions»
Be very cautious about receiving any service from «1^st Impressions» in Corona! My friend and I went to a hairdresser, Angela Scouten, who not only ripped us off by overcharging for the purchase of hair extensions of $ 350 (Twice the actual cost!) and then another $ 150 to put them in, they began to fall out and change color within a few days.
Never having hair extensions before, we thought we could trust Angela. She told us that she could purchase the extensions with her professional discount rate at no extra cost to us and an additional $ 150 each for attaching them. She said that she does not make a profit off the hair. We asked her if the extensions were difficult to take of but she assured us that it was easy because it was «real hair» and you can do anything that you would normally do with your own hair.
Knowing that we were going on vacation and would be swimming in the ocean and swimming pools, we asked again about any precautions that we should take but was again assured that no special care was warranted. Again, it was «real hair» and treat it like your own hair!
So we trusted Angela and we went ahead and spent $ 500 each for the extensions! Don’t tell our husbands that we spent that much! Well anyways, we each began to lose large amounts of the extensions immediately. At least one per day! Then the hair turned bright orange after going into the pool! That embarrassment ruined our entire vacation and we could not wait to get home.
When we returned from vacation, we went back to see Angela, and she acted surprised to see that our hair had changed to bright orange. She asked us what she wanted her to do and of course we told her that we needed them removed immediately. Bright orange is really not that attractive unless you’re in the circus!
Angela took them out and said that she would take them back to where she purchased them to find out what was wrong with them.
After a week of not hearing from Angela, we called her and she said that the place that she bought the hair from would not do anything about it… No Refund-​No Discount, absolutely nothing! The only thing that Angela said that she could do was give us a discount on our next service! Not likely!
We told Angela that we had paid all that money for extensions that were suppose to be «real hair» and we did not get what we paid for and were dissatisfied. She said that she would try to get the color back with clarifier, then toner, then bleach … but all she managed to do was dry out the hair and it became very course. Looked and felt like something you would see on the backend of a horse! Gross!
Angela said it would come back to life with a deep conditioner and she would charge an additional $ 170 to put the damaged hair back into our heads! Are you freakin kidding me?
We took the damaged hair to another hair dresser. We asked her what she thought that it would take to fix the hair. She said «It looks awful and it is ruined and that no amount of conditioning the hair could ever restore it! She asked us how much we paid and when we told her that we each paid $ 350 for the hair. She said» Honey, you got ripped off because that amount of hair can be purchased for $ 150 at the exact same hair shop. Angela made more than 100% profit off the hair! Then we find out that you should never get into the pool or ocean because it could change the color of your hair.
We are very happy with our new hairdresser and our new extensions. She knows what she is doing and the placement of the hair was perfect and we have not lost a single extension. She also gave us detailed instructions on the proper care of hair extensions.
We tried to contact Angela again but she has been avoiding us and cancels our appointment at the last minute. I just want to get the rest of the hair that she has kept that I have already paid for. (Probably to sell to someone else?)
Our experience with Angela and 1^st impressions in Corona was terrible as she was unprofessional, unethical and completely tricked us throughout this whole experience.
We sure won’t ever get our hair done again by these scam artists!
It just goes to show you that the «1^st Impressions» are not always the best!

I started looking for a new salon because the girl who does my hair now isn’t available on weekends and I get off too late to do it during the week. I was REALLY nervous about going somewhere without being referred by someone I know. So I checked Unilocal for good salons in the area and found First Impression. I called to see if they were accepting walk-​ins and the girl (Jessie) said she would be able to fit me in, Great! When I got there and Jessie was very sweet and helpful. She asked what my main concerns were, and I told her I’m growing it out but I wanted to take some of the weight off of it. She gave me really pretty layers that blend nice into my hair and make it look longer! I’ll definitely be going back.

I am very hard to please when it comes to someone cutting my hair, but Jessie at 1^st Impressions one of the best hair stylist have ever had. I have naturally curly hair which is hard to style, but she cuts it and styles it perfectly every time. She is a great asset to the hair salon.

My favorite hair stylist (Lindsey) moved from Bliss to First Impression and she says she loves it there. So of course the 5 star rating passes along. She’s a great stylist, and is friendly. She even trims my eyebrows which is a pretty nice touch. I get a shampoo and rinse before the cut and after which really helps cut down on the spiky hair fragments. Her rate has gone down by $ 5 too so I’m getting the same quality as before but for $ 5 less, what more can you ask for? As for Lindsey, you won’t be disappointed!

I have been going to First Impression for about 9 years now. I have never had a bad experience there and definitely think its one of the best salons in the area. I have been going to Breann to get my hair cut and colored for about 5 years and she is amazing, I always love my color. I do not even live in the Corona area anymore, but I still come back about every 6 – 8 weeks to see Breann. Her rates are off the hook, cut, two colors, and style = my rate $ 85 + tip (I don’t know if this is a frequent flyer discount cause I see her every 8 weeks or so), regardless she’s reasonable and talented. I can tell she’s really building a reputation for herself because her schedule is not as flexible as it used to be. Good thing I’m already on her A-​list as a lifer: D – I just wanted to brag about my awesome hairstylist… but, if you love something set it free –
If you are looking for a new salon I highly recommend it, all the stylists are very talented and in my opinion the color they use lasts longer than most salons.
