History

Established in 2014.

First restaurant opened in 2010 in Commerce, California with a follow up location in Chino Hills, CA in 2013 and another location which recently opened in 2015 in Fontana, CA. Another store is getting built now in Signal Hill, CA with many more locations coming soon.

Corona location is only restaurant of it’s kind in the city.

Business owner his entire life, Tawfek ventured out to open up the Corona location with the Fish-​O-​Licious founder Salim Khoury. He loved the concept of fresh fish delivered daily and cooked the way you want and jumped on the opportunity to own the Corona franchise. Tawfek and his wife Freida run the restaurant 7 days a week and pride themselves on offering superior customer service and a house-​warming atmosphere.

I came in today since I am pregnant and was craving fish tacos. I ordered a fish taco plate while I was waiting for my food, the girl on the register goes to the back to handle my food, I never saw her wash her hands, then she starts eating, she is stuffing her face by the door, then she grabs her cell phone and starts scrolling on her phone, my first thought was, yuck! She is touching the register, her cell phone, and eating, while handling food, so unsanitary… Then the dudes in the back are handling the fries and the friers on shorts and flip floops? Maybe not my business if they get burnt but I never saw anyone wearing safety gear or gloves. When my food was ready, one of the dudes in shorts and flip floops hands me my food, it was a to go order, no bag, no utensils, no ketchup, nothing, I think my hand would have been burnt if I took the food, the girl at the register took the food from him and bagged it from me and the manager just laughed alog with the girl and stated «he was going to give you the order like that» I said I know, my hand would probably have gotten burned and they laughed. When I leave I realize theres only one slice of lemon in my order, so I went back and asked for 4 more pieces, the manager says I gave you one, that’s not enough? I said I like to taste my lemon and I need one per taco, he stated «ohhh wow»!!! Goes to the back and brings me lemon and I just thanked him! THIS IS DEFINITELY MY FIRST AND LAST TIME AT THIS PLACE! I am very disappointed! Health dept. should be involved.

Here for the first, won’t be my last ! Fresh and delicious! Tawfek was wonderful, he stopped to talk with us and let us know that everything is home made including the coleslaw, which was very tasty with golden raisins.

Went to lunch with my friend she had the fish and scalops and I had the fried shrimp. Everything was great tasting. Will definitely come back. The owner Tawefek came by and talked to us, a very nice man.

Found an amazing fresh seafood place! We has seafood kebab, fish n chip, grilled salmon n seafood tacos! The seafood was really fresh n delicious at very reasonable prices. A strong recommendation for good food n good prices!

The fish was delicious. I had the broiler salmon Cajun style. I also ordered the calm chowder, however, had them take it back. They took it back graciously and asked if I wanted a fresh batch, because the one they gave me had «been sitting all day». I said no and they refunded me. The service was very kind. If you’re craving clam chowder I’d look elsewhere. The salmon plate was very big and filling. They served 2 filets over a bed of brown rice with a side of delicious coleslaw. The coleslaw was delectable with the added golden raisins and pineapple. The sourdough bread served was hard as a rock and I couldn’t eat it (saved me on the carbs anyway). It was a nice seafood joint to try since I was in the area running an errand, but have no reason to drive out of my way to come back.

Great staff very friendly. I orderd the Sole cajun style salad. With a side of coleslaw was very tasty the Salads isnt just iceburg lettuce like some salads it hade 3 diffrent types of Greens & a nice variety of other vegtables was very pleased. The coleslaw has pineapple & raisens witch was a nice little touch. Everything was very fresh. Only problem is my GF orderd the Fried cat fish & it was awful. It was very mushy & Wet & the breading fell right off the fish. I wish it wasent true becuase mine was fantastic.

We love this place! We’ve tried a few things on the menu and love almost everything. Their fish plates are really good — sauces are very tasty and full of flavor. The shrimp scampi is a must try! Ordered mine with a side of grilled zucchini. Very lite yet filling and the sauce was really really good.
And we love the gal who’s often there. I think she’s the owner’s daughter. Very friendly and greets us with a smile all the time!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile. Im a foodie. I saw it driving by and saw it on Unilocal,where it has great reviews. I like what I saw on the menu and I’ll probably come back to try something new. Based on many Unilocal reviews I ordered the Cajun Salmon. I knew I could trust Unilocal,tasted really good. Melts in your mouth! The staff was friendly the moment I walked up. The place was clean and there’s plenty of seating. Theres wifi too!

The food was fresh and delicious… from the home made coleslaw, home made tartar sauce and the pineapple honey curry sauce. You can taste everything was fresh and very tasty with lots of flavor. The service was just as great.

Soooooooooo GOOD!
Brought the family in for a nice lunch, first time here and boy were we happy! Everyone loved their meal from the fish tacos to the Cajun salmon, clam chowder and even chicken tenders. We will be back! Super nice staff too. Worth it!

Came here for lunch and was very glad I did. I ordered the salmon plate, which comes with rice (or fries), coleslaw, and a bread roll. The salmon was outstanding. So buttery, melt-​in-​your-​mouth delicious. The rice was so soft and tasty. The coleslaw had pineapple in it, which added such a burst of flavor to it. Everything there is pretty affordable. My meal was about $ 9.95 without a drink. Also, the owner was so nice. You can tell they really care about your business. Definitely coming back.

I received a flyer on my car and decided to try Fish-​O-​Licious for lunch today. Boy, I sure am glad I did!
From the time I walked in the door, I knew this would be a nice experience. I was greeted with a warm and inviting «welcome» as I approached the counter. The fresh fish is right up front where you can see it and it looked good and very large pieces (salmon, shrimp, scallops, trout, etc). It also turns out that today is Taco Tuesday, so now I’m really in heaven!
There were so many great selections to choose from, I didn’t know what to do. I decided on the Mango Cajun Salmon. OMG, it melted in my mouth. Very flavorful, but not too spicy. It came with seasoned rice, Coke slaw and a roll. The portions were much more than expected, especially for lunch. I also tried one of the fish tacos and it was really good. And to think it was only $ 1.
Sitting on the counter were huge brownies with walnuts. If they taste half as good as they look, you’re definitely winning!
Okay, I’m definitely a WINNER! The brownie is perfect! The right consistency and of course you got me with the walnuts… My favorite!
The bottom line… You have to try this place! Trust me, once you do, you’ll keep coming back. I know what I’m having for lunch tomorrow.
Can’t keep me away! I had the Basa Filet on Thursdsy and now the Rainbow Trout on Monday. So delicious! I’m trying the fresh vegetables today, The carrots and broccoli are cooked just right, not over cooked and not too crunchy. Great lunch today!

Came here last night looking for some yummy fish and i was not disappointed. The customer service here is amazing, and the owner was very helpful in recommending what i should order. I listened to his recommendation and ordered the mango salsa salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection and was a nice big portion of fish. The mango salsa had a nice sweet taste to it too, which complimented the salmon very well.
Definitely recommend trying this place if you’re looking for some good fish. They have a wide variety of fish ranging from salmon, trout, sole, catfish, halibut, and skewers. The fish prices are on average around $ 10, which is a good price considering it is fish. The plate comes with rice, coleslaw, a piece of sourdough bread, and a big portion of fish.

This clean, well decorated spot is quite inviting. The friendliness of the owners and staff is definitely welcoming. The fresh fish being displayed for you to see while ordering is pretty cool as well.
We ordered some kabobs with Cajun spices along with zucchini and a uniquely blended version of Cole slaw. I enjoyed the kabobs and zucchini but didn’t care for the slaw due to my personal preference. However my hubby loved the blend of yellow raisins, pineapples and cabbage with carrots. Altogether the food was good and reasonable in price.
I support healthy eating and the serving of fresh food like this. So if you’re in the mood or perhaps dedicated to taking care of your body and want to eat well; come here. The Cajun spices were great and the service was good!

This was a really cute little fish shop. They have fresh seafood which you is displayed by the cash register. The fish is displayed over ice in a case. I really liked this idea because then I could see that my fish wasn’t frozen.
They offered two different flavors for the fish: lemon butter and cajun. I decided to go for lemon butter. The sauce actually came in a literally container and was actually quite necessary for the fish. The fish itself was a little bland and a little dry, which I didn’t mind too much because I later realized it was only the edges that were a little overcooked. The rest of the fish was very good. It came with two slices over rice, served with coleslaw and a dinner roll.
The coleslaw had pineapple and golden raisins in it, which added a great bit of sweetness to the slaw. The slaw itself was drier than I’m used to but it had good flavor to it.
I ordered the rainbow trout with rice instead of fries. The fries looked like they were really good and I definitely plan on going back to try them! They offer a wide selection of seafood including halibut, salmon, catfish, trout, scallops, and shrimp. They also offered fish and shrimp combinations.
I was craving something similar to California Fish Grill in the OC and this definitely hit the spot. It’s not as good as California Fish Grill but it comes a close second.

Fresh fish, big portions, reasonable price– what more could you want? I ordered the fried fish plate that came with three nicely sized fried fish, a ton of fries, a bun, and cole slaw. Fish O Licious is definitely generous with its portions. And on top of all of this, I got a free brownie with my Unilocal check in. The brownie had just been made and was still warm from the oven.
Crispy, good consistency. Batter was tasty, fish tasted fresh. Fries were fries, nothing special. The cole slaw, I actually liked, and am normally not a fan. Bread was soft, I didn’t really touch it because I was so full.
Only problem is that you actually have to wait awhile for your food to get ready, but probably because someone is ACTUALLY cooking it fresh for you after you order! So don’t complain about the wait, it’s worth it. I would definitely come back to check out their $ 1 (fish) Taco Tuesdays.
