HORRIBLE customer service, it would appear they recommended the wrong part, when i called & emailed, I’m met with silence. the owner, Andy is either involved withe Airforum website or answers questions regularly, he’s a great salesman but customer service and integrity is non existent. AVOID.

Got an important part for our Airstream from them. It took three months to get a part we were promised in two weeks. Then, we had to have it remade and the place we took it told us that it would have been dangerous had we used it as we received it because the welding was done improperly. They are fine if you are ordering simple parts but stay away for big parts or anything that is integral to your safety when towing.

I recently purchased a new axle for my vintage airstream from InlandRV, plus a lot of other parts to begin my restoration, what a mistake! I’ll never give them another penny! I paid 600+ dollars for an axle and When I received it, it was made improperly, the brackets for the shocks were mounted in the wrong spot! I called Andy and when I told him he said «impossible!» And never once apologized or helped me in any way, I sent him an email immediately after the call to show him pictures of the mistake next to my old axle side by side, he never called me back, even after I repeatedly called the gals that answered the phones and left messages for him, they always tell me he is with another customer and he will call as soon as he is done, but he never calls, incredibly unprofessional and a disgrace to the airstream community! I wound up having to take my axle to a local welding shop, and had them cut off the bracket and weld it on in the proper position, I never bothered to call InlandRV to see if they would cover my costs for that because I know I would get yelled at by a grumpy old man and they would not help me in any way. I am so disappointed! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to buy your Airstream parts.

Horrible, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! The owner is WORST. As mentioned from one UnilocalER, he has pompous god complex. We have vintage airstream and are in SOCal so I have ordered 2 x from them and had problems BOTH TIMES… I do not recommend. I found great service and parts at Vintage Trailer Supply online…

Do your homework before trusting these folks with your order.
They screwed up by not being able to figure out what part was required from the measurements and VIN. They also messed up entering my credit card wrong and then got my shipping ZIP code wrong.
After I had to eat the return shipping (on an Airstream window!) and a 20% restocking fee, Inland RV did not refund my credit card but issued a highly unethical «store credit» good for a year.
Bottom line: take your business elsewhere. I should have looked at Unilocal BEFORE placing my order.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Terrible, terrible service and unreasonable, argumentative owner with a god complex (though he did state he wasn’t GOD). It’s always the ones who bring it up first though, eh?
I ordered some parts, which I was told by the owner that they were in stock and were promised to be delivered by a specific date to meet a critical timeline. Parts didn’t show up until 3 days after since one thing wasn’t actually in stock.
Instead of calling me to let me know item wasn’t in stock (so I could look for it elsewhere) they kept quiet until I called looking for my parts the day after they were mean to be delivered.
I asked for a refund of the $ 230 shipping costs and he offered $ 40. I said that was unacceptable that I’d accept half of the shipping costs back. He pulled the $ 40 offer and said tough luck sucker (in not so many words).
Horrible, horrible person. Be very aware.

The worst customer service policies around. Seriously. Do not buy from them, there’s a really good chance you’ll get screwed over.

After recently purchasing an Airstream, I was excited to find out that I had a somewhat local place to purchase parts and that the owner of the place was active in the online Airstream community. But I’m seriously disappointed in the customer service based on my first interactions and purchase.
First, I stopped by with my trailer but the employes were unable to really figure out the right part. I showed them the part on their website and they eventually started looking for it in the warehouse but never could find it.
A few days later they called me and said they found it. I decided to make the two hour drive to go buy it a few weeks few weeks later and called to make sure it was available for pick up. They were kind enough to allow me to pick it up after the what I was told was a 3:30 cut off time for walk in customers (though they did make me feel like they were doing me, the customer, a huge favor and I was a major inconvenience).
I called 15 minutes out to tell them I was getting close, and ONLY THEN did they say they needed my VIN to sell it to me. Why didn’t the employees tell me this when I called before making the drive? And why didn’t they take my VIN when I actually had my trailer at the location a few weeks earlier?
I brought the old shower pan I wanted to replace so we compared it side-​by-​side with the new part and it was a perfect match. So far, well, the whole experience was moderately OK. Despite the employees not being able to complete the sale on my first visit, and them not saying anything about the VIN until after my 2 hour drive to their location.
The big issue I have with them came when I called with question during the install. The employees said the owner, Andy, was too busy to take the question. OK, that happens now and then, people can be busy. BUT the employee really started digging into me saying she/​they couldn’t provide ANY help regardless because I hadn’t given them my VIN on purchase. And as I’ve described, the employees were not very good about anything related to communicating that they needed the VIN or obtaining it when the trailer WAS THERE.
During the install, I just had a very simple, two second question on if I should reuse a part from my old shower. Nothing major. But the employee was kind of tearing into me saying something like, «well you know what, sir… WE TOLD you we needed your VIN so this is all your fault and we can’t help you…»
Regardless of VIN, I would hope that they could at least provide basic info about the product such as if it has built in slope for the draining or not. I’m really, really disappointed in this experience knowing how active the owner, Andy, is in the online Airstream community providing tech info to customers and non-​customers alike. But the treatment from his employees — well I’ve not been so upset with the treatment from a business for a long, long time. Very unfortunate.

Additonal comments to the owners post:
46 years of owning a business might be correct, however business is not as usual these days. Consumers now have the ability to share there dissatisfaction and put the ball back in there favor when untruthful business owners try to steal money. 46 years ago this wasn’t possible so no one new how bad of a business Inland RV center is and there Owner Andy.
His claims of emails in F-​words and death are once again how crazy he is. I have records of our emails and in no such way has this occurred.
His excuse of not refunding for a key is as ridiculous as his other claims. This is why buyer should beware.
By the way there are no special keys. Keys were returned and even if they lost them it is a $ 5 lock that you can buy anywhere. A lock worth $ 150 that is laughable.
HE WILL COME UP WITH ANY EXCUSE NOT TO REFUND YOUR MONEY.
Buyer Beware: Inland RV Runs a Crooked Business
In the past I have had pleasant experiences with the employees of this business purchasing materials for my vintage airstream trailer.
On my last order there was a mistake made by Inland RV on the correct size of the panel replacement that was ordered.
This is when this business has truly failed. Owner Andy Rogozinski, took over the return situation and has failed to return my $ 150 dollars for a product that was there mistake.
Andy makes crazy claims to keep my money, such as he has been in the business for 46 years what do I know.
What I do know is that customer service can be very simple and this business owner at a detriment to the rest of his employees has none of it.
He will develop any excuse not to return my money. First it was that a key was not returned with it. Ok, seems like there can be a simple remedy. Not so with Andy, he will hang up on the phone with you and send emails that make no sense to the situation.
Be ware he will come up with any excuse not to refund your money. Now he is saying 2 keys. I am sure there will be something else after that, what about 10 keys?
My warning is do not buy from Inland RV, there are plenty of other reputable vendors online.
If you do have to buy from them I recommend purchasing with a good credit card, it might be your only recourse as it was mine.
