I don’t understand how this place manages to stay in business they are totally customer unfriendly. The floor plan is unorganized and maze like. There seems to be no flow, the staff is complexly untrained and very ghetto. I have only been to this store on 2 – 3 occasions since they opened and try to avoid it at all cost even though I only live a block away. Don’t bother to look at the confusing price signs because even if it says SALE and shows a lower price you will still pay a higher price when you go up to the register. The inventory is completely haphazard and the prices on the shelves will not be what you pay at the register, it is always more. Trying to reason with the high school drop out cashiers won’t do you any good as will arguing with the managers or owners. In short this place sucks I am surprised they have lasted as long as they have. Oh and one more thing they close by 9:00pm even on weekends.

My annual visit to Liquor Warehouse is always a pleasure. Alex and Carole were very helpful as usual. Alex has great gift recommendations. The prices and selections were good. My visit was complete after one of the staff loaded my car.

Okay so I don’t usually review non-​restaurant establishments, but I thought I’d start branching out. I’ve never experienced as unique a liquor store as this one. I don’t come to Queens too often, but I was with a friend who wanted to purchase some wine for a party. The store is gigantic, literally stocked to the ceiling with practically every brand imaginable. We didn’t know exactly where to start, but a friendly man came down and helped us plenty. The isles are actually categorized based on region, and type — they even have a kosher isle! Well we ended up getting something entirely different; my friend wanted to impress her guests. So the manager actually gave us some insight on tequilas. My friend wanted the wow factor, so she went with a bottle of Scorpion — it has a real scorpion in it! There are so many cool products that this store has to offer that I’ve never seen anywhere else, and they actually want to help you here! It was easy to find and definitely easy to park, so all in all, great store — pay a visit for a good deal!

My identical twin sister and I went to this warehouse today and were treated like utter crap.
Nobody asked if we needed help, even though other people were being helped right in front of our faces.
We look young, but we are very used to being carded, but the way it happened today was verging on harassment. We went to buy a gift for a friend. When we got to the register, my sister had her identification readily available (as did I) for the woman at the register to check. Despite this, she thought it was necessary to very loudly yell, «ID please.» My sister then pulled out a credit card and the woman at the next register said to the woman at our register, «You need to check IDs,» after it had already been checked.
Maybe they didn’t know that if we have credit cards with OUR names on them that match OUR identifications, they are very unlikely to be fake, almost impossible.
Well, I was pissed already, but then we were told that credit card purchases have a $ 25 minimum. What on earth is that? It’s 2013; some people only carry cards.
Thanks, but if I really need alcohol, I’ll travel to somewhere less sketchy with employees who actually know how to provide adequate service.
Apparently there is some confusion about this review. I am NOT UPSET THAT I WAS CARDED, since that is state (and national) law. I am upset that the people at the counter were nasty when my sister and I had already provided IDs and credit cards. We know credit cards do not provide age, but I’m pretty sure our state issued IDs, with our birthdates, did indicate that we were old enough to purchase alcohol. Maybe they just couldn’t do the math? Perhaps the signs all over the store that say «You need to have been born before this date in 199_​» and the fact that we were born in the 80s were just not indication enough for them.
