Mavericks Volleyball Club

If I could give them zero star’s I would have.
Let me first say that this review is for the current location on 1521 Pomona Rd.
My daughter has played with Maverick’s for many years and she recently decided to leave the club due to the lack of ethics and character from the club, primarily the club director and club owner. The biased nature of the way the teams are picked are ridiculous. They have girls tryout for a fee when they already have the teams picked months before tryouts even start. They lack professionalism in their business practices, they don’t plan for tournaments well and never disclose any cost breakdowns to the parents. They have even not submitted rosters at huge tournaments where college recruiting was the goal. We were at tournaments and the college coaches couldn’t figure out who our girls were.
Now let’s get to their facility, the ceilings are low, the floors are a mess, the bathrooms look like they were pieced together with scrap from a junk yard. They added a sand volleyball court which gets sand and dust everywhere. At times when they are playing it looks like a dust storm is happening. By the way it is still not finished after 2 years. I would stay away, if you feel like driving to another club is too hard think about what you may be missing out on.
