Do not throw an event here unless you want to deal with RUDE, unprofessional staff who wants ½ of the door profit AND wants YOU to pay for wrist bands for your over 21 guests when they refuse to give you ANY of the profits from alcohol sales. Ridiculous. Just got off the phone with them & from the moment they answered the phone, they were so rude to me. The date I wanted to use their spot was open but they were so rude to me that I refuse to support a business that treats their customers like that. I already threw a show there once & a lot of people came & last minute(DAYOF) they switched the show from inside to outside without even telling us until we arrived! & mind you, it was a very cold night. Very unprofessional. Would not return or recommend anyone do a show here.

Tonight was one of those incredibly warm SoCali winter nights where it feels like summer but it’s still mid March! Maya’s was an interesting little spot to see a show wile it wasn’t the best it definitely wasn’t the worst. The show pretty much took place outside on a decent sized patio area that had a brick oven right behind the drummer I thought that was kinda strange because it looks like it was what’s left of the café part. Wile the majority of the building didn’t look like they actually are a café they just seem to be putting on shows on the patio and selling tacos & beers to the show goers for a decent price! The whole experience here was positive everyone was super cool and having a good time that was full of unity! The sound wasn’t the best but it was decent for just being a DIY show and myself and the rest of the crowd definitely enjoyed it and had a great time! Who knows if ill be back here again but I can say that this was a good time with mediocre sound but who’s really listening to every word when your running around circles in the mosh pit!

Went to a show here last night nice outside area, but not really for a show the stage faces like one side and if ur off to the right a bit in the open area there’s plAnts in the way of seeing what’s on the stage
