Would not honor the certificate. I purchased a $ 25 certificate that clearly stated dine in and minimum of $ 50 purchase. They said their«paperwork» said minimum of $ 75 and would not honor the terms and conditions that I clearly showed them on my certificate. Out of principal, I left and they didn’t care. We are a family of 4 and would have definitely exceeded the $ 75 but bad business in my book!

If you are looking for good Colombian food at a reasonable price, look no further! Aside from eating at their location, I always order the picada on those hot summer nights when my friends and family are over and we’ve been doing a little drinking :) Delivery is always prompt and I am always satisfied with my overall experience.

This is the best Colombian restaurant in Queens. Why? Some context first: I’m a Colombian who has lived in Queens for 10 years. Most restaurants have an obsessively paisa menu with tasteless dishes and oversized portions. Since Paraiso Colombiano has been under new ownership, this is in fact a little paradise. Their carne asada(grilled meat) is juicy and tasty, but my favorite dishes: Mojarra and Pargo(types of fish) are exquisite. The most authentic ever. I also recommend Tostones with Guacamelo(delicious) and their natural juices. The place is small but the attention is fast and great. Seriously, get to know colombian food here. You won’t regret it.

Not too fancy, but a perfect little Colombian restaurant with friendly staff and yummy food. The Arroz Con Pollo was great. Finished with a water ice down the street!

This is such a good place to eat. Their food is so tasty and tipical. If you want to try the Colombian plates I really do recommend la bandeja paisa. It feeds 4 people! Their service is really great as well; very friendly. Only reason I took off a star is because of how small the place is. I came with my boyfriend and 6 others and it was very comfortable to eat because of the space. We filled up the place other then that this place has no complaints from me.

The food looks just like the pics. The Menu is large, mostly variations an a theme. It all seemed very authentic-though I’m no expert. The #14 Bandeja Tîpica(Typical Colombian Platter) was delicious! I stumbled on this place coming out of Flushing Meadow’s Park on the west side near the zoo. If I lived closer, I’d be back sooner.
