Shit for Service literally! These fools need customer training for reals. And Sears needs to hire some legit people with service skills and morals. The female with the glasses sucking on a Gatorade bottle learn to keep your language to yourself, as well as the lame you were giving your coworker that so called personal advise. What a shame! SMH

Cashier was straight up intentionally rude. Store was fine but no particularly great bargains. No reason to come back once you’ve seen it.

It is 10AM and I am scheduled to have my washer repaired at this time (got the extended warranty) but, just now a rep from Sears called to reschedule the appointment out 5 days from now due to the local tech repair guy cannot make it to my appointment scheduled for now that I scheduled with sears over a week ago. I can understand maybe being a few hours late or maybe even tomorrow, but to completely put it out many days after what was told to me seems pretty bad when it comes to a big company like Sears. I asked for the business info (address etc) so I could write this review but they told me over the phone they don’t know who was coming and cannot direct me to who can tell me. I’m sure there is someone or some pipeline how appointments get scheduled and I can «review» with correct info. So since this Sears (with appliance repair) is the closest, you get the review that basically covers Sears as a whole. I have been on the phone with the schedulers without any real help other than they only make appointments. I asked if my newly rescheduled appointment will be for sure or possibly missed again by Sears and I was left with the strong possibility it will be pushed out even further. SEARS DID NOT KEEP SCHEDULED REPAIR APPOINTMENT AND BLAMED IT ON THE REPAIRMAN FOR NOT KEEPING THE APPOINTMENT. Do not trust Sears in regards to repair appointments.

what a miserable stressful experience. they were suppose to delivery on sat 7 – 9, changed my plans and nobody showed up or called!!! then i called and said no delivery til tuesday. nobody called to tell me what time tuesday. first load put in and washer sounded like it was going to fall apart. called next day, assistant manager said they will swap out next day, he will call with appt time. no call so i called and talked to the manager, brad. who was completely rude and blunt and even chuckled and said i cannot get a swap out. first i have to have a tech come out. i explained that i was told they would swap it out and he laughed and said no. i informed him of the delivery issue and that this was paid in cash as we normally do– he didnt care… it amazes me how he can be a manager with the bad attitude and the unwillingness to help me. i was impressed with yuri and david with their understanding — currently still with out new working set. we will see if i actually it happens or not… will never buy from them again… i have used them for years too.

This Sears Outlet is not great and definitely not worth a visit. We went twice before moving and wandered the whole store without ever being approached or helped. They had some great fridges for around $ 500 that we were considering. Then the next week we got a flyer that all fridges were 20−40% off so we went back. Like magic, all the $ 500 fridges were gone. Every fridge in the store was now over $ 1000. How convenient. I think they mark things up when they have sales so they don’t lose money.

this place has great deals, but do your research before purchasing any item. absolutely poor to no customer service. some girl only came over to help when i stated i wanted to buy something. she gave me an estimate and when she rang it up it was a completely different price. i got irritated with her attitude so i asked her to get someone else to help me. she rolled her eyes and repeated my request… long story short corporate was notified.

Worst service ever, or I should say lack there of. The store was empty, we were the only customers in there, and NONE of the 7 employees working came to help us! We were looking at mattresses for 20 minutes and not person came over. But they were all chit chatting at the front register… apparently that was more important than helping their customers. We left and spent our $ 500 elsewhere!

So far this has been a pretty bad experience. Over two weeks after the order, two schedule delivery dates later for just the drier and I still don’t have my washer or dryer. I found out after ordering, that my washer/​drier will be arriving on different days, which means I’ve got sit around for delivery windows on two days. I’ve found it very difficult to get straight answers from anyone, if when you can understand them. I’ve been told to call 5 different numbers and have never gotten a straight answer. Some of the answers I’ve received have been completely wrong. On one phone call they told me that they don’t even see my washer and told me I need to call another number to confirm the order. Then when I got on the phone with the second number they tell me to call the people I just got off the phone with, that told me to call them. I’ve managed buildings for 15 years have ordered tons of large appliances and have never ever had such a horrible experience. I still don’t have my washer or dryer, still no clear answers, and a list of phone numbers to call. Just waiting to see if they’re going to show up today… They’re already past their window.

It seems like If you’d like to confirm you should be able to. from sales to customer service to delivery these guys completely fail.

I read some of the other reviews and realize sometimes going to a Sears outlet is a crapshoot. I have been fortunate enough to have a good experience at the store on multiple occasions.
In December I bought a refrigerator and a washer and dryer and have no complaints. The appliances are an outstanding quality and have had no issues with them. The delivery service could have gone a little bit better but isn’t that always the case?
Today I went in and had another good experience. I’m in the market for some new patio furniture in this place had exactly what I was looking for. I have been doing some research lately to make sure that I get a good deal and I found a great five piece patio set for $ 229. This set Includes a table and for high-​quality chairs with cushions. I haven’t been able to find that anywhere.
I like to stop in here often to see what kind of deals are cooking up. Make sure you check the website ahead of time so you know what sales are going on.

Avoid doing business with this place at all costs, they are absolutely and systematically incompetent.
I ordered a new gas range for my mother as a Christmas gift from the searsoutlet website. I was excited to see that the Corona location near me had this item in stock, and at a good price. I placed the order immediately.
I received a confirmation email that stated the local store would process the order, confirm that the item was actually in stock, and send a ‘ready for pickup’ email once this was done.
24 hours later– no confirmation email.
I call the store and am told that the manager is the one who handles online orders. He is apparently in a meeting, and will call me back in 10 minutes.
24 hours later– no call back.
I call the store again and talk to a different person, I tell them I placed the order and just need to know if the item is in stock so I can come pick it up. I’m put on hold briefly, and the guy gets back on the phone to tell me that he checked, and the item is indeed in stock! Yippee! It’s near closing time, so I decide I will pick up the item tomorrow.
Next day, on a hunch (well, really it was because I read a lot of horrible reviews and didn’t exactly trust this place) I decide to call back just to make sure that the item is in stock. I do this. What do you know, I talk to a different guy and am told that the item is NOT in stock, it never was. He tells me that the online site sometimes lists items in stock that are not. So why the fuck did the guy on the phone yesterday ensure to me that the item was in stock?
Oh well. Looks like I’m not getting the range, time to find a new Christamas present for mom.
I think I’m done here. The confirmation email clearly stated that my card would not be charged until the item is picked up from the store, which obviously never happened. Well here I am a week later staring at a charge from searsoutlet for this purchase.
I decided to write this review now rather than wait to see the outcome of my attempt to get a refund. I’m sure this will go just as «smooth» as the rest of my experience with this god-​awful place.
Avoid this place if you have any choice. I hope they can pull their heads out of their asses soon, since the prices really are pretty good. Oh well…

This review has been amended more than any other I have written, but it reflects the variety of experience that I’ve had with Sears Outlet. I think the key is to buy locally so that you can check out the appliance. If you are told, as I was, that you need to buy on-​line to get the extra-​low price, then do so, but be prepared and insistent on the right to back out of the purchase if the item has been repaired (unless you feel comfortable with a repaired item) and don’t allow them to charge you the crappy restocking fee — such BS when companies do this. In the end, we’ve decided to buy the dryer from Sears Outlet Oceanside and paid $ 450 for a $ 900 dryer that got a great rating on Consumer Reports. You can’t beat that deal. After buying it on-​line, we drove up to Oceanside to pick it up (an hour away from us in SD). I verified in-​person with the store manager that the dryer had not been repaired. There was only cosmetic damage and a paper trail that proved it had never been used or repaired. We decided to go with a brand new companion washer, paying full price of $ 800…expensive. In the end, we will cautiously use Sears Outlet again. After all, they did let me give me a full refund on the misrepresented washer and even had Sears guys come and pick it up from my house. All’s well that ends well, and three stars represents my full experience.
ORIGINAL REVIEW — See Update Below: I wish I could give no stars. BUYER BEWARE! We were attracted by the price, but in hindsight should have remembered the old adage that if it «sounds to good to be true, it is». After finding Sears Outlet stores with the washer and dryer that we wanted (Corona for the washer and Oceanside for the dryer), we couldn’t believe our luck! I called the store to make sure that the washer was damaged with a scratch or two and had never been installed or repaired (the «like new» category, as opposed to the «reconditioned» category.) We were assured by the sales person and manager that it was in great condition and that they couldn’t even see a scratch. We bought the item sight unseen (so dumb) because that ‘s the only way that you can get the internet price (I’m not even sure if that is true, but it’s what we were told) and drove two hours to go and pick it up — no small task with two little kids. But because it’s Sears and we are cheap, we went through the hassle.
When my husband arrived at the Corona store, he saw the «repair» stickers on the back of the machine and three dents. The manager hurried to assure him that the repair was for something minor, that nothing goes wrong with washers and it looked like a plug needed to be replaced. We should have backed out of the sale, clearly, but like a used-​car buying experience, in the end, when you should be most alert and making decisions in your best interest, you are so exhausted that you aren’t thinking clearly. And we felt locked in because of a supposed restocking fee (this morning the rep at the Sears Outlet website said there is no restocking fee), we brought the crappy washer home.
To add insult to injury, a very rude woman in Corona dealt with my husband. Our credit card had been declined as can happen because of a technical glitch with the machine. Most sales people would wipe the strip on the card and retry it a couple of times in the machine. Instead, she brusquely told him that he «spends too much on his credit card». Uh, apparently not, because when he got home, we double checked and they had charged us twice for this item — credit card and debit… and we promptly cancelled that credit card number.
The whole experience feels gross. I am now in the process of trying to get this washer out of my house and back to Corona… and getting my money back. These places may work okay if you go in person to see what they have on hand and deal with local stores only, but next time I will make a u-​turn when that super-​cheap price comes up on Google!
UPDATE: In fairness to Sear’s Outlet Corona, I do want to say that the assistant manager acted promptly when I called him and refunded me the full amount to my bank account (not charging me a restocking fee, which I would have fought had they tried) and made arrangements for a local Sears Outlet to pick up the offending washer. In the end, I’ve had get two new credit cards and am out the money for a few more days in my bank account until the refund goes through. It could have ended worse, right?

We got an amazing fridge for half off. Got the 5 year warranty for half off. Heck, we even got a friggin’ crock pot for half off. What a day.

Bait & Switch store!!! Avoid this place!!! I see all posts are over a year old so things have changed!!! My husband showed up to buy a refrigerator for a NPO… Price was right so he asked how much for them to deliver, delivery was more than it was worth so he left to go get a truck… when he returned to complete the purchase, 2 hours later, the girl typed it into the computer and stated the «Sale» ended yesterday, walked over and turned the sign around, so he said what about that one. same thing. He asked for the manager, out comes so lady who looked like a homeless person and acted like one too. She stated they were short handed and didn’t have enough staff to change the prices… 5 staff standing around talking with no customers but my husband on a Monday morning…

After purchasing a super-​amazing-​gorgeous-​fantastic-​Samsung-​stainless-​steel-​french door-​twin cooling system fridge for our new loft during the killer Black Friday sales at Best Buy, boyfriend and I thought we were completely sorted. Lo and behold, upon delivery we found out that our dream fridge was NOT counter depth, and the unit that actually fit our place was practically $ 1K MORE than what we had already paid. Please believe that we returned it, heads hung in shame.
(Enter Adrian, at the Sears Outlet Store, which had our counter depth fridge in stock for a fraction of the retail price.)
Our experience with Adrian was seamless from start to finish. We called him earlier in the day to see if he had our fridge available in counter depth, and when we confirmed, he assured us he would turn the unit on in preparation for us to see it. Now we were trekking from DTLA aaaaaaaaaaaall to way to Corona just to see this fridge, and were cutting it close to their closing time (our GPS said we would arrive 5 – 10 min. before they were scheduled to shut their doors). We of course called them while on our way, frantic, to beg them to stay open until we got there. «Not a problem, we’ll wait for you,» he said.
After seeing the unit, we were a little less than enchanted with it. We were aware that the unit was damaged and there would be some dings in it. However, we weren’t expecting all of the handles to be mangled and adhesive all of the doors from salestags of its past life. However, Adrian and the crew at Sears Outlet switched out the handles GRATIS, which was a huge relief to us since ordering new ones would’ve cost us an additional $ 100+. They also assured us that the adhesive would be gone when the unit was delivered. We were able to schedule the delivery for the next business day, which was an additional fee, but well worth it since there was no way we were hauling that sucker all the way home in our sedan. And of course all of our concerns and questions kept the staff there later than they were expected to be, though they were nothing but nice throughout the entire transaction!
We received the unit on time, and cleaned-​up as promised. We really had a great experience with this store and would recommend it to anyone looking for reasonably priced applicances. Thanks, Adrian!

I went there again and purchased a mattress. I bought the memory foam cal-​king. The service was great and the delivery was next day and on time. I think my experince with the fridge was a fluke. I’m a very happy customer.

Store is filled with out of season or old items but good prices. Next time I will go in the regular store and maybe look at the sale rack. The select in this outlet store was too dated.
