This is tough, as I’ve never written anything thing like this before, but I feel it’s necessary. This was the most unprofessional experience I have EVER had. I scheduled Audrey to do my hair and makeup for my upcoming wedding. Audrey said she would be the person doing it. On October 24, 2015, I went in for the «preview» of what my hair and makeup will look like, which I purposely scheduled for the day of my engagement party, Audrey introduced me to Jessica and said that she would be doing my hair and makeup instead. I thought, «ok, I’ll give this a chance», thinking she would not subcontract out to someone she didn’t have faith in since this was still her business reputation. Jessica was very nice and tried to get the look I wanted but just wasn’t successful. My hair never did look right and she told me not to worry, that on the wedding day it would be perfect and said we should move on to my makeup. She took my hair down (so I never saw the hair and makeup together) and did my makeup. I had paid for airbrush, which Jessica said she was not told, but she did regular foundation. 4 hours later I left exasperated because none of it looked good. As I was driving home, I looked in the mirror and saw the false eyelashes were half off of my left eye. By the time i got home the eyelashes on both eyes were coming off and there was a portion of my left cheek that had NO makeup on it at all! I had to take everything off and do it over myself and was late to my engagement party. On October 26, 2015 I sent an email to Audrey, after I had a cooling off period, explaining my experience and everything that had happened and stating I understood that there was product used and Jessica’s time so I only asked for a partial refund of $ 100 of the $ 175 Audrey had me pay before she even made the appointment to solidify booking the wedding with her. That was on October 26, 2015. I still have had NO RESPONSE from her.
Please BEWARE of people and businesses like this taking advantage of people at one of the most important times in their lives!
