Just went here, got a bagel and cappuccino. The cappuccino I paid for was a large, however not even the foam covered 2⁄3 of the cup. So I got about half a large. I went to the patio with my family, attempted to go back into the restaurant to get sugar for my half of cup cappuccino. It was 3 minutes until 5pm and they had locked the doors when we weren’t looking. I am a paying customer and only needed sugar. Then employee just looked at me and gave me the«cut throat» sign language thing across her neck. And went into the back where she and the other guy remained hidden for the next 5 minutes. I then gave up and went on my way with my bitter cappuccino. I will never go to this place again and will tell all my military friends to avoid this place too.

Only three and here is the reason. I had to take my tuna lettuce and tomato bagel back for more tuna. Second time this has happened me. I was not happy.

No real difference between this place and an Einstein’s Bagels in my opinion. The place is clean, the lines move fast and the bathrooms are presentable. What else can you really ask for? I more prefer true bagel establishments that pursue the New York bagel method of creating their bagels.

Love Brueger’s and this is my favorite breakfast spot in Coronado. It seems under new management and headed in the wrong direction. I was in with my family the other day and it was crowded. The cashier decided to make bagels and leave several people stranded for ten minutes at the register. Went back today and got the same slow service with the cashier busy on his phone when I walked up. Months later, same deal. 5 people working on the line and no one at the register. However, the coffee was so good went back for a second cup but by then it was burnt beyond repair!

We love this location! Bagels are exactly what you expect and extremely close to the beach and the hotels. Parking is an issue since it’s only street parking. I suggest just walking or riding your bike because parking is a major hassle in this area.

Decent bagels, but bland service. Guess you need to hire people that know how to smile or that is what you get. I say their food is just ok, if you want to escape the Hotel Del’s prices with your family it is ok for breakfast only. I had a very plain breakfast wrap that was almost as good as those 99 cent McDonald’s sausage wraps paid 4.99…next time I will get two at McDonald’s.

Been here three different times in a month period to get a bagel with tomatoes and cucumbers. Each time they have been out of cucumbers and not apologetic about it either. The cashier told me that sometimes they just don’t go to the store to get the cucumbers?

This place needs help. I ordered an onion bagel with a smear and then when the lady asked if I needed anything else i told her I wanted to order two coffees. She responded that I needed to order coffee from the guy in my photo and to just go ahead in the line. When I got to the front I was just grossed out when this same gentleman served the wrong size coffee to someone in front of me. and dumped it back into the top of the carafe. Then when he realized that there wasn’t sufficient coffee he just turned the thing back on to dispense more water through the old coffee grinds. He also told the person in front of me that the espresso machine was broken. All I wanted was a good coffee this morning. Guess it’ll have to wait, but in the meantime, someone get this place some help!

The bagels were good. I had a bagel with cheese and my wife had one with smoked salmon. The greater disappointment occurred when we visited the restroom. It looked like it was not cleaned in a while. No soap in the men’s room, or paper towels at the women’s room.

The food was good here, but I was miffed at the pricing. I got a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon, rather than the whole bagel sandwich, including cheese and capers. My total ended up being $ 7.19, while the sandwich would have been $ 7.39 or something like that. I’m not surprised that a bagel boutique in coronado was pricey, but I did feel a little cheated. Plus, the woman working charged me wrong the first time, so I had to correct her. I wouldn’t totally discount this restaurant, but I won’t be rushing back

Not a terrible place to go for breakfast, not a fantastic place either. I’ve had brueggers in the past at a location in Durham and this location just didn’t really stack up. The service at this location was pretty poor, both in terms of etiquette and efficiency. I had the Santa Fe sandwich(jalapeño cream cheese with egg and sausage) which was decent. Overall a decent experience, but nothing compels me to come back

Great place… I usually go for a bagel and cheese but they have an amazing selection of sandwiches, too. Parking is usually right out front on Orange and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Gets a little crazy on the weekend mornings during the summer(which is a good thing, right).

I go to Bruegger’s for their chewy, handmade, New York style bagels, which are not easy to find in the Western U.S. Their toppings are generous, their staff are polite, their coffee is good, and you can’t beat this location.

Friendly staff — excellent management — delicious bagels. Love the everything bagel, the sesame seed bagel the chocolate chip bagel and their soups. I have been going there almost every day for the past 4 years for my morning coffee. The service is consistently friendly each day! They have a great crew of employees who always greet their customers, always ready to help and the service is always wonderful. Sometimes I visit for lunch as well. I have never been disappointed with the service or the food. It’s always been great!

Delicious bagels and coffee at a good price for coronado. Only giving four stars because the staff isn’t very friendly

Bagels are good, a little chewy but good. Cream cheese is average. Service was POOR. Unfriendly staff that morning. Will look for another place to get me bagels.

The people here aren’t friendly ATALL. Not a single person acknowledged me until I was called«next» and the girl behind the counter couldn’t even manage a smile or anything. All I ordered was an everything bagel, toasted with cream cheese and tomato. Simple. The bagel wasn’t toasted at all, they only put cream cheese on half my bagel and she couldn’t even bother to cut it all the way. Thank you for ruining my morning.

We didn’t have a single bagel, but we did have some great coffee and a nice sidewalk table this morning! :) We also noticed they have a cool coffee deal for regulars. But a reusable stainless mug and get all the coffee you want in it for a year for $ 149.00. Yeah, a big outlay, but I think once you add it up(if you stop once a day at least) it’s a big savings. That’s a cool deal! The place was super clean and had friendly service for sure!
